摘要： A liquid crystal display includes a first display panel, a second display panel, a liquid crystal layer, a plurality of sensing data lines formed on the second display panel, a plurality of variable capacitors connected to the sensing data lines and a first voltage of which capacitance is changed depending on pressure, a plurality of reference capacitors connected to the sensing data lines and a second voltage, and a plurality of output units connected to the sensing data lines which generate sensing signals on the basis of sensing data signals that flow through the sensing data lines. The magnitude of the first voltage has a first level and a second level that is different from the first level, and the magnitude of the second voltage is constant. A time period for maintaining the first voltage at the second level in a interval for reading the sensing signal is at least 1H, and the sensing signal is generated while maintaining the first voltage at the second level. Accordingly, a time for outputting the sensing signal is increased and sensitivity of the sensing unit is improved, thereby increasing reliability of the sensing signal.

摘要： A shift register includes stages to generate gate signals in sequence. Each of the stages includes a first pull up drive control section, a pull up drive section and a pull down drive section. The first pull up drive control section outputs a control signal based on the gate signal of an adjacent stage. The pull up drive section receives a first clock signal and outputs the first clock signal as the gate signal to a corresponding gate line in response to the control signal. The pull down drive section inactivates the corresponding gate line in response to a second clock signal.

摘要： In a light sensing element having simplified structure, an array substrate having the light sensing element and an LCD apparatus having the light sensing element, the light sensing element includes a first electrode, a control electrode and a second electrode. An alternating bias voltage is applied to the first electrode. An off voltage is applied to the control electrode. The second electrode outputs a light-induced leakage current based on an externally provided light and the bias voltage. Therefore, the array substrate includes one light sensing switching element corresponding to one pixel so that structure of the array substrate is simplified and opening ratio is increased.
