    • A rotor for a motor includes a shaft having an outer periphery with a positioning portion. The positioning portion has non-circular cross sections perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the shaft. A plastic magnet is formed on the outer periphery of the shaft by injection molding. The plastic magnet includes an inner periphery engaged with the positioning portion. Thus, the plastic magnet is prevented from disengaging from the shaft and from rotating relative to the shaft. As a result, the rotor has enhanced engaging effect between the shaft and the plastic magnet. Furthermore, the rotor has a simple structure to allow easy assembly.

    • A brushless DC motor includes a base, a stator, a rotor, and a leak flux absorber. The base is for the rotor to couple. The stator has a coil module and is mounted on the base. The rotor has a shaft and a permanent magnet, with the rotor coupling with the base through the shaft and a gap is axially formed between the permanent magnet and the coil module. And the leak flux absorber is disposed around the coil module and is adjacent to, partially in, or totally in the gap. Consequently, a leak flux generated by the permanent magnet, which does not pass through the coil module, is absorbed by the leak flux absorber and forms close magnetic flux paths, so that the high-frequency noise in operation is thus lowered.

    • A simplified fan device includes a base plate, a flat-type impeller, a magnet sheet and a shaft member. The base plate includes an axial hole and at least one stator coil arranged thereon. The flat-type impeller is formed with an annular supporting plate, an assembling hole and a series of bent vanes. The magnet sheet provides with a center through hole and at least one pair of alternatively opposite magnetic poles (i.e. north pole and south pole). A first distal end of the shaft member is mounted to one of the assembling hole of the flat-type impeller and the center through hole of the magnet sheet or both. Correspondingly, a second distal end of the shaft member is extended through and rotatably received in a bearing member mounted in the axial hole of the base plate so as to constitute a thin-type structure.
