摘要： A light guide system includes a substrate with multiple light sources connected to the substrate. Multiple zones are individually positioned each proximate to one of the light sources. Each of the multiple zones includes a translucent area back-lit by energizing one of the light sources. A polymeric material is applied onto individual pairs defined by one of the multiple light sources and one of the multiple zones. The polymeric material after subsequent curing defines a light guide for each of the pairs for transmission of light generated by the light source of each pair. A reflective coating is applied onto the at least one external facing surface of the light guide, the reflective coating defining a material different from the polymeric material.

摘要： A lighted assembly includes a perforated member having a plurality of relatively small openings therethrough. The openings are arranged to provide areas forming letters, designs, or the like. A light source may be positioned adjacent the perforated member whereby light from the light source travels through the openings to form illuminated letters, designs or the like. The perforations may be filled with a light-transmitting polymer material. The light source may comprise an LED and a light guide that distributes light along a lower side of the perforated member. The light source may be positioned in a waterproof housing that is sealed to the perforated member.

摘要： A rain gutter illumination system having a cover for attaching to a rain gutter with an aperture along the substantial length of the cover, and opposing recesses for retaining a decorative insert. When the decorative insert is inserted in the cover, it is held in place by the recesses, and a light source and optional diffusing panel may be arranged in the cover so that the light source projects light through the aperture of the illuminable surface. The light source may be remotely controllable using a wireless remote control device, such as a smart phone over a network connection.

The decal and design are removable and replaceable.

The display device has first and a second light transmitting substrates, each having a front surface and a rear surface, the first substrate including at least one etched region corresponding to a first graphic, and the second substrate including at least one etched region corresponding to an inverse or negative of the first graphic. The display device also has first and second light sources arranged to emit light into the first and second substrates. The first substrate conveys the light to the etched region(s) of the first substrate which then scatters light towards the user. The second light source is behind the second substrate and emits light through both substrates towards the user. When the first light source is illuminated only the first graphic is displayed, and when the second light source is illuminated only the second graphic is displayed.

The full color themed artwork is visible when brake light is off and enhanced when brake light is on. The unit body contains the LED light, reflective background, red colored plastic light diffuser, and electrical pigtail connector which plugs into the vehicle's 12 volt DC receptacle. Unit has a unique clear acrylic swing-down door that holds the acetate artwork in a built-in channel immediately behind the door. Unique acetate artwork is manually interchangeable. A square foam washer takes up tolerance between the metal hitch box and the plastic unit body. An O-ring mounted around the inside of the clear acrylic door provides a weather-tight seal protecting internal parts and artwork acetates.
