摘要： A power supply apparatus for induction heating is provided. The power supply apparatus includes a smoothing filter configured to smooth a pulsating current of DC power output from a DC power supply, and an inverter configured to convert the DC power that has been smoothed by the smoothing filter into AC power. The smoothing filter includes a plurality of capacitors having different internal inductances and connected to each other in parallel between input terminals of the inverter, each of the capacitors being connected to the input terminals of the inverter directly or through a pair of bus bars. The plurality of capacitors includes a first capacitor and a second capacitor, the first capacitor having smaller internal inductance than the second capacitor and a shorter conductive path between the input terminals of the inverter than the second capacitor.

摘要： A matrix converter system and control method includes a matrix converter, a generator, a plurality of output capacitors, and a controller. The matrix converter includes a plurality of switches and is connected between a multiphase input and a multiphase output. The plurality of output capacitors are connected between the multiphase output and ground. The generator is connected to the multiphase input and includes internal inductances. The controller is configured to control the plurality of switches to control active current and reactive current from the generator based on the internal inductances of the generator. The active and reactive currents are controlled to charge the plurality of output capacitors. The matrix converter operates in a current control mode and is able to boost output voltage above the input voltage level.

摘要： A converter system comprises two phase modules, each phase module comprising a first converter leg and a second converter leg interconnected with a DC link, and a charging transformer for charging the DC link. The DC link comprises two capacitors connected in series between a positive point, a middle point and a negative point, each converter leg adapted for interconnecting an output with the positive point, the middle point or the negative point of the DC link. The phase modules are connected in series via outputs of the converter legs, such that a second converter leg of a lower phase module is connected with a first converter leg of a higher phase module. The charging transformer is connected to the middle point of the DC link of a highest phase module, which provides a phase output of the converter system with an output of a second converter leg. The converter system includes two converter phases, each converter phase comprising at least two series connected phase modules. At a star point of the converter phases the converter phases are star-connected via outputs of first converter legs of lowest converter modules, which are series connected with higher converter modules, whereby a module side start point of the charging transformer is connected or is not connected with the star point of the converter phases.

摘要： We describe a power conditioning unit with maximum power point tracking (MPPT) for a dc power source, in particular a photovoltaic panel. A power injection control block has a sense input coupled to an energy storage capacitor on a dc link and controls a dc-to-ac converter to control the injected mains power. The power injection control block tracks the maximum power point by measuring a signal on the dc link which depends on the power drawn from the dc power source, and thus there is no need to measure the dc voltage and current from the dc source. In embodiments the signal is a ripple voltage level and the power injection control block controls an amplitude of an ac current output such that an amount of power transferred to the grid mains is dependent on an amplitude of a sinusoidal voltage component on the energy storage capacitor.

A DC power holding source is coupled to an input half-bridge switch, a common half-bridge switch and an output half-bridge switch. A controller is coupled to the input half-bridge switch, the common half-bridge switch, and an output half-bridge switch to generate at least two control signals at a common switching frequency, wherein the controller generates the at least two control signals with a phase difference there between chosen to cause a ripple frequency in both the input low pass filter and the output low pass filter to be double the common switching frequency. An input low pass filter can eliminate switching frequency energy from entering the AC power source. An output low pass filter can eliminate switching frequency energy from entering the AC load.

摘要： A power converter can be controlled to generate a target output power based on a reactive power reference and an active power reference. The control process may include monitoring a time-varying power signal (e.g., a power grid voltage signal from a power grid), and filtering the time-varying power signal to derive a filtered sine component of the time-varying power signal and a filtered cosine component of the time-varying power signal. A sine coefficient and cosine coefficient each based on at least the reactive power reference and the active power reference can be determined, and applied to the filtered sine component and filtered cosine component of the time-varying power signal, respectively. A target current reference of the power converter can then be set to include a sum of the current reference sine component and the current reference cosine component.
