    • A valve stem seal is provided that can effectively prevent detachment from a valve guide. The valve stem seal comprises a metal ring provided with a tubular portion attached to an outer circumferential surface of an end portion of a valve guide, and a lip member provided with a sealing lip that is supported on the metal ring so as to be in tight contact with a valve stem passing through the valve guide, a cutout being provided in the tubular portion, and a tongue-shaped engaging piece being provided inside the cutout, the engaging piece protruding towards an engaging recess provided on the outer circumferential surface of the valve guide and engaging with the engaging recess in a detachment direction of the metal ring from the valve guide, wherein the engaging piece is formed so as to bend towards a radially inner side of the tubular portion at an area extending from a starting end of the engaging piece by a first length in the detachment direction, the first length being longer than a length, in an axial direction of the tubular portion, from the bent area to a tip of the engaging piece.

    • A sealing device is located between an inner member and an outer member that rotate relative to each other. The sealing device includes a tubular part that is to be mounted on a cylindrical end portion of the outer member, an annular part connected to an end of the tubular part and having a portion located radially inside the end portion of the outer member, at least one lip extending from the annular part toward the inner member. Each of the annular part and the tubular part includes an elastic part and a rigid part. At least one of an upper surface of the annular part that is opposite to the tubular part and a lower surface of the tubular part that is opposite to the annular part is formed of the elastic part. Multiple protrusions are formed on at least one of the upper surface of the annular part and the lower surface of the tubular part, the protrusions protruding along an axial direction of the sealing device. The multiple protrusions are arranged on a circle centered on the central axis and spaced apart from each other.

    • A sealing device is disposed within a circumferential groove of an inner member that reciprocates relative to an outer member. An inner seal ring of the sealing device is made of a resin and includes an outer peripheral surface having a circumferential groove. An outer seal ring of the sealing device has a high elasticity and is fitted into the circumferential groove of the inner seal ring. The outer seal ring is brought into slidable contact with the inner peripheral surface of the hole of the outer member. A back ring of the sealing device has a high elasticity, is disposed radially inside the inner seal ring, and is compressed between the inner peripheral surface of the inner seal ring and the bottom wall surface of the circumferential groove of the inner member. Inclined surfaces are formed at both ends of the outer peripheral surface of the inner seal ring in the axial direction of the inner seal ring, each of the inclined surfaces having a diameter that decreases as a distance from a center of the outer peripheral surface of the inner seal ring in the axial direction increases. Protruding annular portions are formed at both ends of the inner peripheral surface of the inner seal ring in the axial direction, the protruding annular portions protruding radially inward to restrict movement of the back ring in the axial direction.
