    • A system and method of providing relevant sales context information that would enable vendors to reduce cost of operations, increase productivity of their mobile sales forces, and drive improved efficiencies throughout. Mobile sales force representatives can utilize a handheld computing device for reviewing relevant customer sales information prior to a sales visit; for training and other purposes during a sales visit; and inputting new customer sales information during or after a sales visit, which can then be uploaded to a server over a wireless network for future use. The handheld device can communicate with a server to download the customer information onto the handheld device and to upload from the handheld device current customer information data obtained from a customers sales visit to a server. The server can transmit the current customer information data to multiple sales force representatives who can utilize that information in the sales environment.

    • A method and system for synchronizing and prioritizing messages from separate systems includes receiving a message from a computer network having a unique identifier. Next, this message having the unique identifier may be compared to at least one of a rule and a formula stored in a database. If the message with the unique identifier matches at least one of a rule and a formula stored in the database based on the unique identifier, then the message may be supplemented with an action identifier. Subsequently, the message may be prioritized relative to one or more other messages based on at least one of a source identifier and the action identifier. The message may then be transmitted to a notifier. The notifier may relay the message over the communications network to at least one of an application content provider (ACP) and/or a target application upon receiving a request for transmitting messages.

    • The present invention provides systems and methods for tracking service representative activity and data. Service representatives are equipped with handheld devices that are configured to execute question and instruction sequences during a service call. Worksheets containing such surveys and instruction sequences may be periodically transmitted to the handheld device from a backend server. The handheld device records the times at which the service representative enters and exits a retail location and the times at which particular tasks are started and completed. The worksheets allow service representatives to enter relevant data into the handheld device. Such data may include digital images, signatures and the like. All data collected at the handheld devices may be transmitted via a network or other communication link to a secure backend server, where it stored in a database and made available for query by a reporting module.

    • An initiator service executed by a host server manages communications with wireless client devices concerning information accounts centrally stored in a data repository. In response to authenticating a user of a wireless client device, the initiator service may prompt the user to specify information to be retrieved from his information account and to specify a recipient of the retrieved information. The initiator service may then manage the retrieval and distribution of the specified information. The initiator service may also interact with a wireless client device to establish and distribute temporary authorizations to access information accounts. The initiator service may further receive promotion codes from wireless client devices and may query databases for data associated with each promotion code. Data received from the database may be transferred by the initiator service into an information account owned by the user of the wireless client device.
