    • A method, system and computer program product for efficiently quantifying the economic impact of retiming flights without the necessity of implementing the traditional airline forecasting system from scratch. A forecast module computes the difference in impact prior to and after the retiming of a flight. A flight grouping module, using the computed difference in impact, generates a new schedule, which is used by the forecast module to generate new changes in impact, until the schedule converges. A flyable module generates a list of retimed flights based on the converged schedule for resolving operational infeasibilities of the latter. The forecast module generates a profit for each of the retimed flights, which is used by a scheduling module to improve the schedule, which is used by the forecast module to revise the economic impacts for the list of all retimed flights. This process continues until no further economic improvement can be made.

    • The present invention discloses a computer-based method for minimizing loss or delayed delivery of commercially transported shipments by providing a first database containing transport/operational related data, (a.k.a. “operational data” and “transportation data”); providing a second database containing scanned shipment article identification data; providing third software which accesses a composite database containing integrated information records derived from and originally stored within transport and scanned shipment article databases; interrogating the composite database in response to a user input requirement; formatting said integrated records in response to a user input requirement, and communicating said formatted information to said user via a screen image display (GUI). The invention's process determines data required to satisfy user input requirements, identifies and compiles the information, then presents the information via screen image (GUI) utilizing real-time information retrieved from transportation and shipment article databases.

    • The present invention relates to a system for recycling a halocarbon composition which generally removes a halocarbon composition from a first source to purify the halocarbon composition and injects the halocarbon composition to a second source. The present invention is particularly useful for recovering and recharging of a commonly used halocarbon composition, Halon 1301. The invention comprises a first line having a first and second end where the first end of the first line is connected to the first source. The first source has the halocarbon composition contained therein. A vapor recovery unit connects to the second end of the first line for permitting the halocarbon composition to be transported from the first source to the vapor recovery unit for compression. A second line connects the vapor recovery unit to a recovery bottle. The recovery bottle is cooled by a cooling system integrally connected thereto for separating the nitrogen from the halocarbon composition. Once the halocarbon gas has been purified, a return line which connects the recovery bottle to permit the purified halocarbon composition to return to a second source for later usage.
