摘要： A method and apparatus for reclaiming refrigerant. The method includes transferring, an unreclaimed refrigerant composition, including one or more hydrofluoro olefins, from a source vessel to a receiving vessel and transporting the receiving vessel to a recycling center. The unreclaimed refrigerant composition is analyzed to determine the composition of the unreclaimed refrigerant composition sample. A target composition is determined, based on the analyzed unreclaimed refrigerant composition, and one or more treatments are determined, based on the target composition. The unreclaimed refrigerant composition is treated, with the one or more treatments, to form a reclaimed refrigerant composition having the composition of the reclaimed refrigerant composition is equal to the target composition.

摘要： Methods for forming an improved refrigeration system comprising: (a) providing an existing refrigeration circuit comprising an existing refrigerant having a GWP of greater than 1200, a plurality of evaporators in a refrigerated space containing products accessible to consumers, a rack of compressors and at least one condenser located remotely from the areas accessible to consumers; (b) disconnecting the fluid connection between the existing liquid refrigerant from said condenser and said evaporators; (c) disconnecting the fluid connection between said existing refrigerant vapor from said evaporators in step (b) and said suction of said compressor or compressor rack; and (d) establishing a new first refrigeration circuit comprising the compressor rack and said condenser; (e) establishing a new second refrigeration circuit comprising at least one of the evaporators by steps comprising: (i) removing the existing refrigerant from the evaporators and at least a portion of said conduits which have been disconnected in steps (b) and (c); and (ii) replacing the removed existing refrigerant with a second refrigerant comprising: (1) from about 30 to about 70% by weight of CF3I; (2) from about 9% to about 58% by weight of HFO-1234yf; (3) from 1% to about 21.5% by weight of HFC-32; and optionally (4) from 0.5% to 4% by weight of HFC-125, CO2 or a combination of HFC-125 and CO2.

The invention also provides a composition R-1132a, R-32, R-1234yf and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of: pentafluoroethane (R-125), 1,1-difluoroethane (R-152a), 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (R-134a), trans-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene (R-1234ze(E)) and 1,1,1,2,3,3,3-heptafluoropropane (R-227ea); optionally, the composition comprises at least one further compound selected from the group consisting of trifluoroethylene (R-1123), propane (R-290), propylene (R-1270), isobutane (R-600a) and carbon dioxide (CO2, R-744). The present invention also provides a composition comprising R-1132a, R-32 and R-1234yf.

The method includes obtaining a signal from a sensor of the sensing portion indicative of a flow rate of the amount of refrigerant over a time period that the refrigerant is transferred. The method includes determining the amount of refrigerant based on the signal obtained from the sensor.

In each container configuration, an outlet of the reconfigurable container can be fluidly connected to the refrigerant system such that the injector can discharge treatment fluid through the outlet into the refrigerant system. The plurality of different container configurations can include a plurality of different fillable container configurations or one or more fillable container configurations and a pass-through configuration. In a fillable container configuration, the reconfigurable container defines a fillable space for receiving treatment fluid. In a pass-through container configuration, the reconfigurable container passes fluid from a disposable container through the outlet. In use, the desired container configuration is selected and fluid is injected from the injector into a refrigerant system.
