摘要： A Wi-Fi/radio frequency (RF) converting device includes a Wi-Fi transceiver, a multiplexing converting module, and a RF transceiver. The Wi-Fi transceiver receives a Wi-Fi control signal from a control signal generator. The multiplexing converting module receives the Wi-Fi control signal from the Wi-Fi transceiver and converts the Wi-Fi control signal into a RF control signal. The RF transceiver receives the RF control signal from the multiplexing converting module and sends the RF control signal to a plurality of electric elements. An RF extension device may be provided to share the signal transmission between the electric elements and the Wi-Fi/RF converting device.

摘要： An audio/visual (A/V) transceiver is provided for supplying intent access to a computing device. The A/V receiver comprises a first format module configured to receive and process electronic data in a first format and an Ethernet module configured to transmit electronic data to the computing device in Ethernet format via an Ethernet port. The transceiver further comprises a bridging application executing on a processor, the bridging application configured to convert internet data in the first format into the Ethernet format. A method is also provided for supplying internet access to a computing device over an audio/visual (A/V) receiver. The method comprises receiving an internet signal in a first protocol standard at an A/V receiver, bridging the internet signal in the first protocol standard into a second protocol standard understood by the computing device, and transmitting the internet signal in the second protocol standard to the computing device.

Moreover, the mechanisms, in response to determining that the ingress traffic load across the plurality of links is unbalanced, send a message to a switch associated with the LAG requesting the switch to modify routing of ingress traffic to the LAG to perform ingress traffic load balancing.

摘要： A packet gateway (PGW) receives a plurality of IP packet fragments from a network. The IP packet fragments comprise a head fragment and one or more trailing fragments, and are associated with a first IP packet. As the fragments are received, a controller at the PGW classifies the fragments. The controller applies a same selected service treatment to the head fragment and to each of the trailing fragments based on the classification of the head fragment. The PGW then sends each treated packet fragment to an end user device.

摘要： In a dual speed passive optical network, an optical line termination (OLT) transmits a communication signal having a 10-Gb/s partition and a 2.5-Gb/s partition. The 10-Gb/s partition includes a 10 G data signal and a 2.5 G clock signal so that the PLL of a 2.5 G (legacy) optical network termination (ONT) can remain locked while a 10 G ONT is receiving data. The 2.5 G clock signal includes 1-bit spike signals of greater amplitude than the 10 G data signal.

A lower layer path may be composed of a flow for packets, a link at a link layer, and a channel at a physical layer. A packet may be received from an application. A most preferred lower layer path for the packet may be selected from among at least one available lower layer path. The available lower layer path(s) may be arranged in an order of preference based on treatment of packets (e.g., best effort or QoS), protocols used at the link layer, channel types at the physical layer, and/or other factors. The packet may be sent via the selected lower layer path. A highest precedence lower layer path for the packet may be set up (e.g., in parallel) if this path is not among the at least one available lower layer path.

摘要： A method is provided in one example embodiment and includes communicating an in-band message packet from a first network element; receiving a response to the in-band message from a second network element, the response contains tunnel identification binding data that identifies a tunnel on a backhaul link on which traffic from a user equipment can flow; and receiving instructions from the second network element to offload a received data packet from the backhaul link. In particular instances, the in-band message is set to loopback when the in-band message is sent from the first network element. In other embodiments, the tunnel identification binding data is provided in the payload of the in-band message when the in-band message is sent from the first network element. In other examples, the method can include receiving an assigned Internet protocol (IP) address of the user equipment in the response to the in-band message.
