摘要： The present invention provides an image contrast enhancement method, which respectively calculates the absolute values of the differences of the gray scales between the pixels of two adjacent row of the same column and between the pixels of two adjacent column of the same row, and respectively calculates the first gray scale value weight and the second gray scale value weight according to the absolute values. Then, the cumulative calculation and the normalization process are performed according to the first, the second gray scale value weights. Ultimately, the enhancement gray scale table is obtained for redistributing the gray scale values of the respective pixels, which can raise the contrast of the image, reduce the distortion of the image and optimize the display result.

摘要： An image processing apparatus includes an image compressing unit, and a print-data generating unit. The image compressing unit divides the image of one page's worth of the document into each band region by a predetermined width in the sub-scanning direction and sets a rectangular region by a further division of each band region by a predetermined width in the main-scanning direction to generate rectangular compressed data. When the print-data generating unit generates the print data where a plurality of pages of document image are aggregated in one sheet, and an region in which the image does not exist occurs in a last page after the aggregation, the storing control unit complements the region in which the image does not exist in the rectangular compressed data storage unit using the white image data stored in the white image data storage unit.

摘要： A history generating apparatus includes an image generating section, an image reading section and a history generating section. The image generating section generates a bitmap first image and generates initial attribute information indicating attributes of respective pixels of the first image. The image reading section reads an image based on the first image formed on paper so as to generate a bitmap second image. The history generating section separates the second image into image regions by attribute indicated by the initial attribute information, performs image processing on each of the image regions according to the attribute and combines the image regions so as to generate a history image.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method for controlling transfer of print data from clients connected in a network to shared printing devices connected in the network. The method comprises the steps of: providing (S1) print data upon reception of a request to send to a printing device connected in the network, forming (S2) header information for the print data based on information provided by a configurable logic means, wherein said header information comprises information related to at least one designated printing device controller (140) identified based on the request to print to a printing device, processing (S3) the print data so as to provide processed print data comprising the formed header information, sending (S4) the processed print data to the at least one designated printing device controller (140), receiving (S5) the processed print data at the designated printing device controller, reading (S6) at the destination printing device controller the header information of the received processed print data and controlling (S7) the processed print data in accordance with the header information. The controlling comprises forming (S8) reconstructed print data from the processed print data at a destination printing device controller based on the header information, and providing (S9) the reconstructed print data to the printing device. The invention also relates to a client controller arrangement, a printer arrangement and a network.
