    • A data transmission device and a method thereof. A fax driving unit converts a document into a fax data recognizable by a first multifunction machine, and creates a fax event including a fax information event which instructs to transmit the converted fax data to a second office machine and a fax number of the second office machine. A printer spooler spools the converted fax data and outputs the spooled fax data and the fax information event. A communication port transmits the spooled fax data and the fax information event to the first multifunction machine. The first multifunction machine transmits the fax data to the second multifunction machine based on the transmitted fax information event. Accordingly, data communication errors are prevented which occur between a host personal computer and a multifunction machine while transmitting the fax data.

    • A method to perform color mis-registration correction in an image forming apparatus includes detecting a plurality of color image data from print data, detecting edge information of each color image pixel for each of the color image data, and comparing the detected edge information and determining whether to perform color mis-registration correction. If it is determined to perform the color mis-registration correction, the method includes comparing a value of a pixel which constitutes each color image and setting a correction value, and if a correction value for entire pixels of the each color image is set, performing color mis-registration correction for the plurality of color image data according to the set correction value. Accordingly, color mis-registration correction may be performed effectively and stably.

    • An arbitration circuit to arbitrate an issue between a read/write command and a scan command and a display driver integrated circuit including the arbitration circuit.     • An image processing method and an image forming apparatus using the same. The method of processing includes dividing an image into a predetermined number of blocks, calculating an average of color signals of pixels existing in each of the blocks divided, classifying the blocks into color blocks and monochrome blocks using the calculated average, and determining whether the image is a color image or a monochrome image using a proportion of the color blocks. Accordingly, for a document wherein color and monochrome images are mixed, it is automatically determined whether an image is a color image or a monochrome image.
