    • Apparatus includes a communication predelivery receiver, configured to communicate with and relay both IP addressed overhead and IP addressed payload data from an originating communication device. The communication predelivery receiver includes a screener configured to, when the communication predelivery receiver is in communication with the originating communication device, receive certain data including first IP addressed data and second IP addressed data of corresponding first and second initiated communications. The communication predelivery receiver is configured and connected within a network so the first IP addressed data and the second IP addressed data are processed differently. For the first initiated communication, the first payload data is converted, after the point in time at which the screener received the first IP addressed data, from IP addressed first payload data to another network signal. For the second initiated communication, the second payload data is delivered without so converting the second payload data.

    • There is provided a communication control apparatus, a center server, and a communication system capable of performing processing during a communication error at low cost without installation of any special functions. The communication control apparatus includes a call control unit which establishes communication connection with another apparatus by using SIP and a transmission and reception control unit which establishes communication connection with a predetermined center server which connects to the NGN if the other apparatus is not compatible with NGN data connection, transmits to the center server a command in which option values including target information of the other apparatus and a reroute processing request are designated, and transmits a file to the center server to cause the center server to transfer a file obtained by converting the file to the other apparatus.

    • An image forming apparatus of the present invention determines whether or not electronic information on a displayed image on a portable display terminal set on a platen can be received from outside of the image forming apparatus, and generating converted data for printing by receiving said electronic information and converting it into a printable format when it is determined that the electronic information can be received (S118 or S119). Meanwhile, the image forming apparatus generates scanned data for printing by scanning the displayed image on platen when it is determined that the electronic information cannot be received from outside (S121 or S123). The image forming apparatus then prints the displayed image based on either converted data or the read data (S124).
