摘要： A cable management system includes a housing configured to protect and enable easy winding of cables and adapters. The various preferred embodiments utilize a rotating functionality to easily wind both small and large cables, while simultaneously supporting and protecting the cables. A plurality of selectively removable inserts provide for accommodating multiple configurations of cable sizes and locations. The unique design decreases the space typically required to store the adapter, promotes an extended product life for the cable housed within the casing, and can significantly reduce the time needed to wrap and store the cable.

摘要： An “air-data probe” system measures at least one component of freestream velocity by tracking the motion of a laser-induced breakdown (“LIB”) spark created in a freestream flow. Neutral density filters are positioned or deployed so that the brightness of the initial LIB spark doesn't over saturate the LIB sensor system. This allows for more consistent tracking of the LIB spark throughout the duration of the LIB spark, including the later stages where the LIB spark is not nearly as bright as the initial LIB spark, thereby allowing all or substantially all of the light generated by the LIB spark to reach the sensors. This provides for enhanced visibility and more accurate detection of the LIB spark over time and as air density changes.

摘要： A sound capture device is affixed to an acoustic instrument to capture the natural sound output of the instrument. The captured sound signal is routed to an electronic sound augmentation system that is configured to augment the captured sound with spatial sound effects such as reverb, echo, delay, etc. The processed and augmented sound is then reproduced via a vibrating driver that has been affixed to the body of the acoustic instrument. This creates a situation where the body of the musical instrument, responding to a series of vibrations produced by the vibrating driver, acts as a speaker component, reproducing a rich augmented sound output that comprises the sum of the sound produced by the original sound production capabilities of the acoustical instrument plus the added augmented or enhanced sound effects.

摘要： A firearm simulation system for enhanced firearms training comprises at least one weapon with a mechanically activated laser. The system includes a normally closed laser activation circuit used in conjunction with a recoil kit. The normally closed laser activation circuit comprises a conductive seal, a ball bearing, and a recoil spring. The recoil spring presses or urges the ball bearing into contact with the conductive seal. The function of the laser activation circuit is mechanically triggered and the laser activation circuit is electrically connected to a light source (e.g., a laser light) and configured to activate the light source, simulating a projectile being fired from a weapon. When the trigger of the simulated weapon is pulled, a striker pin dislodges the ball bearing, moving it out of its original position is contact with the conductive seal. The displacement of the ball bearing by the striker pin, away from the conductive seal, creates an open circuit. The open circuit serves to activate the laser, simulating a projectile being fired from the simulated weapon.

A pressure monitoring system is connected to monitor the gas pressure between the bulk tank and the control valve. The pressure monitor system closes the valve when pressure drops below a first predetermined threshold, and opens the valve when the monitored pressure exceeds a second predetermined threshold greater than the first predetermined threshold.
