    • A method of making color and gradation correction performs color and gradation correction differently for a human subject image and a computer graphic image before or after composing these images. A gradation correction is carried out by the use of linear table data written in a look-up table for computer graphic images and non-linear table data for human subject images. A color correction circuit for transforming image data by the use of a matrix calculation comprises three look-up table memories and an adder for adding together outputs from the look-up table memories for each color to be color corrected. In these three look-up table memories, different table data are written in, according to the kinds of human subject image and computer graphic image. There are provided a plurality of different table data for human subject images and computer graphic images, respectively and suitable table data are selected according to a human subject image and a computer graphic image to be composed.

    • A radiation conversion device is driven by an on-board battery, detects radiation that has passed through a subject, and converts the radiation into image information. A charging cradle to which the radiation conversion device is connected carries out a charging process on the battery. The radiation conversion device includes a signal transmitting unit for transmitting image information by wireless communications to an external apparatus, a transmission suspension unit for monitoring a transmission state of the image information by the signal transmitting unit and suspending transmission of the image information when a transmission error is generated, and a suspension release unit for releasing suspension of transmission of the image information when the radiation conversion device is connected to the charging cradle. The signal transmitting unit transmits the image information to the external apparatus when suspension of transmission of the image information has been released.

    • A radiation detecting cassette and a radiation image capturing system are provided. A radiation detecting cassette has a radiation detector for detecting a radiation having passed through a patient and converting the detected radiation into radiation image data, a transceiver for transmitting the radiation image data by way of wireless communications, a cassette controller for controlling the radiation detector and the transceiver, a power supply for energizing the radiation detector and the transceiver, and a remaining power supply power level detector for detecting a remaining power level RC [%] of the power supply. The cassette controller includes a data transmission and reception controller. The cassette controller stops transmitting the radiation image data by way of wireless communications and prioritizes the capturing of a radiation image when the detected remaining power level of the power supply is smaller than a predetermined threshold.
