    • A chuck structure for fixing a drumstick on a non-circular revolving shaft of a foot drum includes a retractable chuck, two arched plates and a fastening element. The two arched plates clamp the non-circular revolving shaft. An inner arched surface of each arched plate has an inner fastening surface correspondingly clamping the non-circular revolving shaft, and an outer arched surface of each arched plate has a spiked surface. The retractable chuck includes a fastening portion and a rotating portion, which are pivotally connected to each other, clamp the two arched plates, and are penetrated by the drumstick. Each of the fastening portion and a rotating portion has a clamping surface abutting against the spiked surface. The fastening member propels and rotates the rotating portion, so as to allow the retractable chuck, spaced by the two arched plates, to clamp and fasten on the non-circular revolving shaft.

    • A cajón playing device consists essentially of a bottom plate, a mallet assembly, and a pedal lever. The mallet assembly is mounted on the bottom plate and has a rotating shaft, a mallet fixedly connected to the rotating shaft so as to pivot simultaneously with the rotating shaft when the rotating shaft is rotated, and a transmission member fixedly connected to the rotating shaft and extending toward the bottom plate. The pedal lever has a middle section pivotally provided on a lateral side of the bottom plate, one end connected to the extending end of the transmission member, and the opposite end bent into a curved foot-operated portion. When the foot-operated portion is operated, the pedal lever is pivoted and drives the transmission member to rotate the rotating shaft such that the mallet fixedly connected to the rotating shaft is pivoted and strikes the striking surface of a cajón.

    • An improved drum pedal utilizes an advanced dampening system in combination with a base, pedal, beater assembly, and support structure. The pedal is mounted to the base while the support structure forms a first pillar and second pillar that allow rotation of an axle positioned between them. A cam on the axle is connected to the pedal by a first chain, allowing the beater assembly to be actuated by the pedal. The dampening system provides an opposed first dampening mechanism and second dampening mechanism, which are tethered to each other by a second chain. The second chain is engaged with a sprocket that is connected to the axle, such that rotation of the axle results in corresponding movement of the dampening mechanisms. Compression springs, combined with cylinders and flanges, respond to movement of the axle with dynamic tension. This is an improvement over the spring implementation of current drum pedals.
