    • Methods, apparatus, and products are disclosed for paging memory contents between a plurality of compute nodes in a parallel computer that includes: identifying, by a master node, a memory allocation request for an application executing on the master node, the memory allocation request requesting additional computer memory for use by the application during execution; requesting, by the master node from a slave node, an available memory notification specifying to the master node the computer memory available for allocation on the slave node; allocating, by the master node, at least a portion of the computer memory available for allocation on the slave node in dependence upon the memory allocation request and the available memory notification; and transferring, by the master node, contents of a portion of the computer memory on the master node to the allocated portion of the computer memory on the slave node.

    • Battery charge management systems for charging a battery bank including a plurality of batteries connected in series are disclosed that include: a power source having a charging port, the power source capable of providing power to each battery in the battery bank; a multiplexer connected to the battery bank, the multiplexer capable of connecting the charging port to a single battery at a time and capable of switching the connection of the charging port to each battery in the battery bank; and a microcontroller connected to the multiplexer and operatively coupled to each battery in the battery bank, the microcontroller capable of receiving discharge data and charge data for each battery in the battery bank, the microcontroller capable of instructing the multiplexer to switch the connection of the charging port with each battery in dependence upon the discharge data and the charge data for that battery.

    • Methods, apparatuses, and computer program products are provided for graphical display of hierarchical hardlinks to files in a file system that includes identifying multiple hardlinks for a file and displaying relationships among the multiple hardlinks and the file. Some embodiments also include a hardlink comprising a link to a file directly mapping the file into a namespace. Graphical display of hierarchical hardlinks to files in a file system also includes providing a list of hardlinks to the file and providing in the file a pointer to the list. Some embodiments also include deleting the file having multiple hardlinks, renaming the hardlinks to the file, and displaying the pathnames of the hardlinks to the file.
