摘要： A method and apparatus to record data on an optical recording medium include generating a recording waveform having an erase pattern comprising a multi-pulse having a high level which is higher than an erase power level and a low level which is lower than the erase power level. A power level of a leading one of the multi-pulse of the erase pattern and a power level between an end of the erase pattern and a start point of a leading pulse of a recording pattern are controlled to be the low level and the high level, respectively, the high level and the high level, respectively, the high level and the low level, respectively, or the low level and the low level, respectively.

摘要： An adaptive writing method of a high-density optical recording apparatus and a circuit thereof. The circuit includes a discriminator for discriminating a magnitude of a present mark of input NRZI data and magnitudes of leading and/or trailing spaces of the input NRZI data, a generator for controlling the waveform of a write pulse in accordance with the magnitude of the present mark of the input NRZI data and the magnitudes of the leading and/or trailing spaces of the input NRZI data to generate an adaptive write pulse, and a driver for driving a light source by converting the adaptive write pulse into a current signal in accordance with driving power levels for respective channels of the adaptive write pulse. The widths of the first and/or last pulses of the write pulse waveform are varied in accordance with the magnitude of the present mark of input NRZI data and the magnitude of the leading and/or trailing spaces, thereby minimizing jitter to enhance system reliability and performance.

摘要： A check valve for bathrooms and toilets to improve air ventilation and prevent insects and viruses from entering the bathrooms and toilets includes an elbow duct which has an inlet end on one side communicating with a ventilation vent, and a cylinder extended outwards from the inlet end to couple with a padding on the inner rim. There is an outlet end on other end of the elbow duct positioned in a diagonal and upper manner relative to the cylinder. The elbow duct has an inclined side on the bottom. The inclined side has an upper end bent to form a conical cavity. The elbow duct houses a ball which may roll automatically on the inclined side to close the ventilation vent. When air is dispelled through the ventilation vent, airflow pushes the ball to the conical cavity to form a passage in the elbow duct.
