摘要： According to one or more aspects, the teachings herein improve user equipment (UE) Channel State Information (CSI) feedback, by letting the precoder part of a CSI feedback report comprise factorized precoder feedback. In one or more such embodiments, the factorized precoder feedback corresponds to at least two precoder matrices, including a recommended “conversion” precoder matrix and a recommended “tuning” precoder matrix. The recommended conversion precoder matrix restricts the number of channel dimensions considered by the recommended tuning precoder matrix and, in turn, the recommended tuning precoder matrix matches the recommended precoder matrix to an effective channel that is defined in part by said recommended conversion precoder matrix.

摘要： A system and method for providing an eNodeB with the flexibility to configure a Channel State Information (CSI) report to match a specific Coordinated Multipoint (CoMP) transmission hypothesis, which is a candidate for a downlink transmission to a User Equipment (UE) is disclosed. A UE receives, from the eNodeB, a configuration message that specifies a CSI report. The CSI report is specified by a particular interference hypothesis and a particular desired signal hypothesis corresponding to data transmission over at least one effective channel characterized by a specific reference signal. The UE estimates interference according to the interference hypothesis, and/or estimates at least one effective channel by performing measurements on the specific reference signal, and determines a CSI report based on the interference estimation and on the estimated effective channel. The UE also transmits the CSI report to the eNodeB.

摘要： For data transmission in a wireless communication network, a radio channel divided into subframes in the time domain is used. A network system (100) assigns resource elements in a first subframe (20) and at least one subsequent subframe (21, 22) to a user equipment (200). By downlink control information transmitted in the first subframe (20), the network system (100) sends a multi-subframe assignment (503) to the user equipment (200). The multi-subframe assignment (503) indicates the assigned resource elements to the user equipment (200). In at least a part of the assigned resource elements in the first subframe (20) and at least a part of the assigned resource elements in the at least one subsequent subframe (21, 22), the network system (100) transmits precoded reference symbols (504, 06, 508) to the user equipment (200). Further, the network system (100) sends an indication (501) to the user equipment (200) that the user equipment (200) is allowed to assume that precoding of the reference symbols (504, 506, 508) is static over the first subframe (20) and the at least one subsequent subframe (20, 21). The user equipment (200) may utilize the precoded reference symbols (504, 506, 508) for channel estimation.

摘要： A method for wirelessly transmitting data using a plurality of transmission layers includes estimating a number of data vector symbols to be allocated to one or more user data codewords during the subframe and determining a number of bits in the one or more user data codewords. The method also includes calculating a nominal number of control vector symbols to allocate to control information based, at least in part, on the estimated number of data vector symbols and the determined number of bits in the one or more user data codewords. Additionally, the method includes determining an offset value based, at least in part, on a number of layers over which the wireless terminal will be transmitting during the subframe and calculating a final number of control vector symbols by multiplying the nominal number of control vector symbols and the offset value. The method also includes mapping one or more control codewords to the final number of control vector symbols and transmitting vector symbols carrying the one or more user data codewords and the one or more control codewords over the plurality of transmission layers during the subframe.

The transmitting node determines a plurality of muting configurations and selects a transmission configuration. Each muting configuration corresponds to at least one transmission configuration. The transmitting node transmits a dynamic configuration message identifying the at least one muting configuration that corresponds to the selected transmission configuration to the receiving node and transmits the information carrying signal to the receiving node according to the selected transmission configuration. The receiving node receives the dynamic configuration message and the information carrying signal and decodes the received information carrying signal taking the at least one muting configuration into account.

The method also includes generating a plurality of vector symbols based on the control codewords and the user data codewords. Each vector symbol includes a plurality of modulation symbols that are each associated with a transmission layer over which the associated modulation symbol will be transmitted. Generating the plurality of vector symbols includes interleaving bits of the control codewords and bits of the user data codewords so that the control information is carried in modulation symbols associated with the same transmission layers in the vector symbols transmitted during the subframe that carry the control information. The method also includes transmitting the plurality of vector symbols to a receiver over a plurality of transmission layers.
