摘要： The present invention aims to provide a current-limiting circuit breaker which is improved in assembling efficiency and which can readily cope with diversification of specifications. The circuit breaker of the invention comprises power source side contact unit including a group of component parts containing a power source side contact and movable contact unit including a group of component parts containing a load side contact. The units are detachably connected to each other. The movable unit is selectively connected to the various power source side contact units. Therefore, according to the invention, circuit breakers of various kinds of types can be obtained which are more useful, and manufactured by a small number of component parts some of which are commonly used in products. The circuit breakers can readily cope with the diversification of the specifications, and are improved in assembling efficiency.

摘要： A circuit breaker with a thermal trip has a calibration opening in the electrically insulating housing through which a tool may be inserted and rotated to distort a support plate on which a bimetal is mounted to calibrate the thermal trip after the circuit breaker has been fully assembled and enclosed within the insulating housing. A tamper indicating seal in the form of a destructible film secured over the calibration opening by an adhesive having an adhesive strength exceeding the tensile strength of the destructible film provides a visual indication of any subsequent attempts to tamper with the calibration setting.

摘要： A low voltage circuit breaker has a housing of insulating material divided into an upper part and a lower part along a parting gap. The interior of the housing is subdivided by partitions to accommodate the adjacent pole channels of a multiple pole circuit breaker. The partitions of the upper part and the lower part overlap along their entire length and the outside walls of both housing parts overlap essentially over their entire length having only short interruptions. The overlap of the outer walls and the partitions lengthen the electrical leakage paths within the housing and between adjacent insulating housing and prevent the passage of switching gases into adjacent breaker spaces and between adjacent breakers.

摘要： An electrical receptacle assembly affording ground fault protection includes a housing containing fixed contacts supported by socket connector sub-assemblies. A support plate mounts an electronics/magnetics module and operating mechanism sub-assembly including a pivotal, movable contact carrying arm, a latch, a reset button and a trip solenoid. The reset button positions the latch to detain the arm with the contacts in circuit completing relation. On a ground fault, the module effectuates energization of the solenoid to unlatch the arm which moves to separate the contacts.
