摘要： A resonator (40) for a filter comprises (i) a cavity (49) having first and second opposing conductive end walls (41, 42) and a conductive side wall (43); (ii) a conductive post (44) extending into the cavity from the first conductive end wall, the end of the conductive post remote from the first conductive end wall being provided or integral with a hollow conductive element (45) which is flared and increases in cross-section in a direction towards the second conductive end wall; and (iii) a load element (47) extending into the cavity from the second conductive end wall, the load element being flared and decreasing in cross-section in a direction away from the second conductive end wall. The end of the load element remote from the second conductive end wall extends into the end of the hollow conductive element remote from the conductive post and forms an annular gap with the hollow conductive element. The resonator has improved power-handling compared to resonators of the prior art.

摘要： The present invention provides a common-mode signal absorber, which comprises an impedance-matching network and a common-mode signal reflection circuit. A differential-mode signal is inputted into input ends of the impedance-matching network, and outputted from output ends of the common-mode signal reflection circuit. When a common-mode signal is inputted into the common-mode signal absorber, the common-mode signal reflection circuit is for reflecting the common-mode signal within a specific frequency band. Afterward, the reflection of the common-mode signal within the specific frequency band will be absorbed by an impedance element of the impedance-matching network. Thus, the common-mode signal within the specific frequency band may be absorbed by the impedance-matching network so as to avoid to interfere signals transmitted on a communication system.

摘要： A microwave or radio frequency (RF) device includes stacked printed circuit boards (PCBs) mounted on a flexible PCB having at least one ground plane and a signal terminal. Each of the stacked PCBs includes through-holes the sidewalls of which are coated with a conductive material. Microwave components are mounted on the flexible PCB within the through-holes, such that signal terminals of the components bond to signal terminals of respective through-holes. A conductive cover is mounted on the PCBs such that the cover is in electrical contact with the ground plane of the flexible PCB through the conductive material, forming shielding cavities around the components. The flexible PCB is folded such that the cover of one PCB faces the cover of the second PCB. The flexible PCB includes striplines or microstrips that carry RF or microwave signals to the signal terminals.
