摘要： An example computer-implemented method and computer system, each adapted for encapsulating digital data records in multiple, differently structured and unstructured formats, the data records ingested from multiple data storage locations, is described herein. In the method, each ingested data record is separated into a plurality of tuple structures, and for each tuple, the tuple is split into a data part and fieldname part. A pointer is created by combining the fieldname part, a record identifier of the data record, and a database identifier of the storage location where the data record was stored. The pointer is appended to the data part to form a digital stem cell (DSC) that is stored in a single data store, each formed DSC having the same structure.

摘要： In order to secure a door in a locked (or locked open) position without a key, such as to resist a forced entry through the door, a removable, remotely-controlled door locking apparatus is provided, which includes a rear plate for attachment against a surface of a door, a cover for enclosing components on the rear plate, and a telescoping arm assembly connected to the rear plate and extendible so that the other end attaches to a door knob. A DC-powered linear actuator connected to the rear plate and at least one electronics module configured to communicate wirelessly is within the cover. A foot of the actuator is configured to be extended in a lock state against a floor surface to secure the door or retracted in an unlock state, based on a wireless signal received from a remote smart device to control the actuator.

摘要： A protective case for a smartphone is described herein. The case may include a first frame part, and a second frame for retaining the smartphone therein. One of the first and second frame part has a ball formed at one end thereof, and the other includes a socket adapted to fixedly retain the ball therein. The case further includes a threaded insert attachable to the case for receiving a tripod mount, and an elastomeric element. One of the frame parts is pivotable relative to the other via the ball and socket between open and closed states spanning up to 90 degrees, with one of the two frame parts further rotatable 360 degrees about its own longitudinal axis thereof via the ball and socket. The elastomeric element bears against the ball to provide friction so as to prevent undesired rotation of one frame part relative to the other in all degrees of freedom.

An extension module of the system is connected between the base module and the spinner and torque modules. A plurality of arms thereon are adapted to be extended and retracted from/to the extension module to move the spinner and torque modules toward and away from the base module. 摘要： An elongate hollow structure and method of constructing the hollow structure is described, the hollow structure including a radially inner portion and a radially outer portion merging together to form a tubular wall structure. The method includes providing the radially inner portion, assembling the radially outer portion about the radially inner portion, and radially expanding the inner portion. The outer portion comprises an outer layer of fiber reinforced composite construction surrounded by a flexible outer casing. A space is provided between the radially inner portion and flexible outer casing. The outer layer includes reinforcement and a binder. The flexible outer casing resists radial expansion of the reinforcement, subjecting it to radial compression. The radially expanding inner portion cooperates with the flexible outer casing to cause the volume of the space to progressively decrease, causing the binder to spread through the space between the radially inner portion and flexible outer casing.
