摘要： A piezoelectric/electrostrictive ceramic composition includes a Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3—PbTiO3—PbZrO3 ternary solid solution system composition as the major component, and further contains 0.05 to 3.0 mass % of Ni (in terms of NiO) and 0.01 to 1.0 mass % of Ag (in terms of AgO). The piezoelectric/electrostrictive ceramic composition can be used to form a piezoelectric/electrostrictive portion having excellent mechanical strength, and excellent piezoelectric/electrostrictive characteristics as well with seldom dielectric breakdown even under an application of a high electric field, at a relatively low firing temperature.

摘要： The invention suppresses the occurrence of cracks in a dielectric layer, and improve yield during manufacture of a dielectric device. A dielectric device includes a substrate, a base electrode and a dielectric layer. The base electrode is fixed on the substrate. The base electrode is formed such that a surface of a base electrode edge part has an inclined part. The dielectric layer is fixed on a substrate surface so as to cover the base electrode. The dielectric layer is formed by annealing a deposited layer obtained by spraying a powdered dielectric on the substrate surface. Therefore, a triple point adjacent part, which is a part of the dielectric layer opposite the base electrode edge part, is formed so as to have a dense structure in the same way as other parts.

摘要： The dielectric device includes a substrate, a lower electrode, a dielectric layer, and an upper electrode. The lower electrode is bonded onto the substrate. The dielectric layer is bonded onto the lower electrode. The dielectric layer is obtained through thermal treatment of a film layer formed by spraying of a powdery dielectric material and a fine-particulate metal. In the thus-formed film layer, the metal is dispersed in the matrix of the dielectric material. Thermal treatment of the film layer causes migration of the metal in the film layer. This metal migration causes a lower-electrode-adjacent portion and upper-surface-adjacent portion of the dielectric layer to have different metal contents.

摘要： This invention relates to a composition characterized by containing, as essential components, deacetylated chitin and/or a deacetylated chitin derivative, and glyoxylic acid; a solution-containing gel formed from the composition; a water-insoluble chitosan coating; and a material obtained by treating a base material with the composition. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a chitosan composition, which in a “one-pack” form, has a pot life. Even when dried at room temperature after coating or impregnation of a base material, the chitosan coating can be water-insolubilized with reduced yellowing.

摘要： A water-based coating formulation for an electrode plate of an electricity storage device, said water-based coating formulation being adapted to form a coating film layer on the electrode plate, contains at least one resin binder having a saponification degree of 40% or higher and selected from unmodified and modified polyvinyl alcohols and unmodified and modified ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymers, an electrically conductive material, and a specific polybasic acid or its acid anhydride in a water-based medium containing water as a polar solvent. Per parts by mass of the electrically conductive material (2), the resin binder is from 0.1 to 3 parts by mass and the polybasic acid or the like is from 0.01 to 6 parts by mass. The coating formulation has a solids content from 0.02 mass % to 40 mass %.
