摘要： The present invention discloses an elastomeric spring being installed at the end of a musical instrument stand such as a floor tom-tom drum or other drums. A base is substantially in an axial symmetry, wherein a protruded middle section disposed at the lower section of the base and a hollow hemispherical member inside the base define a shell wall for reducing the irregular vibrations of the musical instrument stand. The elasticity of the shell wall is used to empower the floor tom-tom drum to give a low drum base having echoes without noises.

摘要： A prescribed number of bars are arranged in a percussion instrument such as a xylophone and marimba, wherein each bar is formed by a base layer, a fiber reinforced plastic layer, and a surface layer that are combined together using an epoxy adhesive therebetween. Both the base layer and surface layer is made of the prescribed hardwood material such as rosewood, hard birch, padauk, and Chinese quince, while the fiber reinforced plastic layer is formed by laminating one or more fiber reinforced plastic sheets, each of which is formed by impregnating and hardening thermosetting epoxy resin with fibers. All fibers can be aligned in a single direction slanted to the longitudinal direction of the bar. Alternatively, fibers are woven in two directions rectangularly crossing each other in a cloth form. Thus, it is possible to improve bars in striking durability as well as in sound quality and design.

摘要： An anchoring fixture for a musical instrument comprising a clamp socket with a platform, the platform having a hollow circular piece arranged on its bottom face, a through hole in its center position for communication with the hollow circular piece. A fixed clamping wall and a movable clamping piece are provided on a top face of the platform at its lateral edge. One end of the movable clamping piece is extended to form a protruded connecting rod, which is inserted in an arc groove channel in the fixed clamping wall. In the central portion of the fixed clamping wall and the movable clamping piece, a semi-circular recess is formed respectively, and an enhancing ring piece locates at an enclosed space formed by the semi-circular recesses. The circular piece of the clamp socket collars onto a top end of a central tube in a musical instrument holder, and an adjustable tube of the musical instrument holder penetrates the enhancing ring piece as well as the through hole in the platform to enter the central tube for completing assembly of the fixture.
