摘要： A connector is attachable to an extending transformer stud. The connector includes a single hole or bore within the body of a connector to accept threaded transformer studs of different thread sizes. The connector can accommodate different size studs while still providing a compact design. The connector provides increased physical contact with the stud. The connector can be easily installed and removed from a stud without undue effort on the part of the installer. The stud connector includes an elongated passageway with three bore centers, wherein the thread center is slightly offset from the elongated passageway center and the elongated passageway having a diameter just slightly larger than the stud to be received. The elongated passageway includes more than one thread size milled or tapped into the bore circumference.

摘要： The terminal block assembly of this invention provides a finger safe method of distributing power while at the same time enabling the installer to make uniform and correct connections to a multiplicity of taps or ports. Each connection includes an abutment or seat physically to engage the end of the conductor and in addition the construction of the block and its insulating case provides the installer with visual access to the tip of the conductor in its proper seated position before the conductor is secured to the block. In order to provide such visual access the walls partially blocking the seating end of each conductor socket are scalloped or provided with an inverted conical section which enables the tip of each conductor to be seen from the top of the block. To facilitate this visual access the entire top of the insulating case is made from a transparent material.

摘要： A connector includes a housing forming at least one receptacle and a terminal received in each receptacle. The housing has upper and lower faces in which opposite slots are defined. Through holes are defined in the slots and extending to the receptacle. The terminal has an engagement section, a retention section extending from the engagement section, an extension section extending from the retention section and opposite to the engagement section and a wire engaging section projecting from the extension section. The engagement section includes a plurality of circumferentially spaced resilient leaves forming a cylinder axially aligned with the holes defined in the upper and lower faces of the housing. Thus, when a pin of a mating connector is fit into the cylinder of the engagement section through either one of the holes of the housing, the pin is completely surrounded by the leaves and a large contact area is formed between the pin and the engagement section. Due to the resiliency of the leaves, only a low insertion force is needed in completing insertion of the pin into the engagement section. Firm engagement, low impedance and low noise, as well as reduced heat generation, can be realized between the pin and the engagement section.
