In one aspect, an electronic system assembly includes a first component comprising a first hole, a second component comprising a second hole, and a press-fit fastener configured to be inserted into the first hole and the second hole in a single motion. Related press-fit fasteners and methods of manufacture are disclosed.

摘要： Disclosed is a connector for a high voltage connection inside an electrical device, especially for electrically connecting a heating plate to a printed circuit board inside a heating device. The connector has a plastic body and several metallic strips that each have two ends that protrude from the plastic body. The metallic strips form press-fit contacts at least at one of their ends, each metallic strip has a through hole that matches with a corresponding opening of the plastic body, and the plastic body has ring-shaped beads that each surround one of the openings. Also disclosed is a heating device having a heating plate, a printed circuit board, and such a connector electrically connecting the heating plate to the printed circuit board.

摘要： The disclosure relates to a conductive housing for the connector and a connector comprising the conductive housing. The conductive housing comprises a plurality of side surfaces, at least one of which comprising a plurality of terminal connection portions spaced apart from one another at an edge portion of the side surface, and a gap being formed between two adjacent terminal connection portions; and a plurality of terminal pins, each of which being connected to the respective terminal connection portion. The conductive housing further comprises at least one conductive elastic piece, one of which being connected between the two adjacent terminal connection portions to at least partially cover the gap between the two adjacent terminal connection portions. By means of such arrangement, the conductive elastic piece covers most areas between the terminal pins so as to enhance electromagnetic compatibility.

摘要： This disclosure provides a method and apparatus for connecting wires and interlocking wires to an electrical component. More specifically, an electrical connector that includes an insulative housing, two electrical contacts, and two interlocking contacts is disclosed. In an embodiment, each electrical contact includes a female end, a press-fit end, and a transition portion. The transition portion is designed such that the first female end and the first press-fit end may be properly aligned depending on the application. The transition portion also provides support and stability to the electrical contacts when they are disposed within the insulative housing. The insulative housing includes four contact recesses. In an embodiment, the electrical connector allows for the safe, efficient, re-usable, and reliable connection for connecting high-voltage wires to a corresponding sensitive electrical component (e.g., a printed circuit board).

摘要： An electrical contact is provided for connecting together substrates. The electrical contact has a longitudinal axis and includes first and second structures that are connected together to prevent relative movement between each other. The first structure extends along the longitudinal axis and has a rigid construction. The second structure includes a spring portion and a mounting portion. The spring portion is resiliently deflectable in the direction of the longitudinal axis. The mounting portion is adapted for securement to one of the substrates. A press-fit portion is provided that extends along the longitudinal axis and is adapted for press-fit insertion into a hole of the other one of the substrates. The press-fit portion may be part of the first structure or the second structure. In addition, the first structure may be composed of metal or plastic.
