摘要： An instrument and method using electron spin resonance spectrometry for measuring the concentration of airborne soot particles, and the like, that includes continuously passing a sample of exhaust gas through a resonating RF microwave cavity resonator during the application therethrough of a uniform slowly varying uniform magnetic field that is rapidly modulated and measuring the resulting phase modulation or amplitude modulation thereof to derive an electron spin resonance signal that directly senses the concentration of carbon free radicals produced as a result of inefficient combustion of hydrocarbons during operation of the vehicle or boiler. A further invention is the use of this signal for feedback control of the engine or boiler operating parameters to minimize or substantially eliminate particulate matter emissions.

摘要： Described is a low power surveillance camera system for intruder detection. The system observes a scene with a known camera motion to generate images with various viewing angles. Next, a background learning mode is employed to generate a low rank matrix for the background in the images. Background null space projections are then learned, which provide a foreground detection kernel. A new scene with known viewing angles is then obtained. Based on the foreground detection kernel and the new input image frame, low power foreground detection is performed to detect foreground potential regions of interest (ROIs), such as intruders. To filter out minimal foreground activity, the system identifies contiguous ROIs to generate the foreground ROI. Focus measures are then employed on the ROIs using foveated compressed sensing to generate foveated measurements. Based on the foveated measurements, the foreground is reconstructed for presentation to a user.

Then, r resamples are generated, in parallel, by applying a bootstrapping method to each block in the set of random blocks to obtain a resample of size n, where r is not fixed. Errors are estimated on the r resamples, and a final accuracy estimate is produced by averaging the errors estimated on the r resamples.

Protrusions provided on each of the first and second locking members are moveable by compressing the locking member such that the lug is received in a hole in the cross member and the protrusions are received in a holes in the elongate members.

In detecting the insider threat, the system receives data from the network relevant to network activity and extracts observable actions from the data relevant to a mission. Finally, the system detects potential insider threats through analyzing the observable actions and reasoning results.
