    • Apparatus for signal and current transmission between end points capable of moving relative to one another having a flat ribbon line arranged in between. The ribbon has at least two conductors, embedded in an insulating sheath. The ribbon is subdivided into winding areas, connected by a U-shaped reversal point and is accommodated in a cassette, having a rotor and stator. The rotor and stator enclose between them an annular winding area for the ribbon. A strip of insulating material is arranged in the winding area of the cassette and has at least two sections which are offset with respect to one another in the circumferential direction of the cassette and have reversal points and associated winding areas. The strip is placed around turning points, fitted to the stator. The strip supports the ribbon such that turns of the ribbon do not fall on one another.

    • An intelligent network patch field management system and specialized cross-connect cable are provided to help guide, monitor, and report on the process of connecting and disconnecting patch cords plugs in a cross-connect patching environment. The system is also capable of monitoring patch cord connections to detect insertions or removals of patch cords or plugs. The cross-connect cable is provided with LED's in both of the cable plugs. When only one plug of the cross-connect cable is plugged into a port, the LED associated with that plug is switched out of the circuit, while the LED in the unplugged plug remains in the circuit and can still be illuminated by the system.

    • A cable assembly for connecting an electronic device to another electronic device and/or to a signal source. The cable assembly comprises a first connector and a second connector and a plurality of conductors connected between the connectors.     • A light-emitting power connector is disclosed. The light-emitting power connector includes an insulating plug receiving portion, a shell, and a light emitting diode (LED). The insulating plug receiving portion includes a base from which a light penetrating part and a tongue section extend and a plurality of the conductive terminals. The shell is connected to the insulating plug receiving portion and located outside of the tongue section to define a socket between the shell and the tongue section. The LED is installed at a first predetermined position in the insulating plug receiving portion to ensure the shell and the light penetrating part are located within a viewing angle of the LED.
