In one embodiment, the ICM includes a plurality of shielding components, the plurality of shielding components comprising a port to port shield, an insert to insert shield and a main body shield. The ICM also contains one or more housing components, the one or more housing components comprising a plurality of ports that are arranged so as to be offset from a main signal conditioning portion of the one or more housing components; and an electronics assembly disposed within the one or more housing components. Methods and apparatus for utilizing and manufacturing the aforementioned ICM are also disclosed.

Each portion includes at least two terminals configured to mechanically engage at least two terminals of the other portion. The two terminals within the first and second portions are arranged so that as the first and second portions are mated, a first terminal of the first portion and a first terminal of the second portions come into contact before respective second terminals of the first and second portions. The circuit also includes a polymeric positive temperature coefficient (PPTC) device with a first terminal in electrical communication with the first terminal of the first portion and a second terminal in electrical communication with the second terminal of the first portion. A power terminal is in electrical communication with the second terminal of the first portion and is configured to be connected to a power source. A load terminal is in electrical communication with the first and second terminals of the second portion and is configured to be connected to a load.

摘要： A resettable switching apparatus, useful in a GFCI receptacle, has an auto-monitoring circuit for automatically testing various functions and structures of the device. The auto-monitoring circuit initiates an auto-monitoring routine which, among other things, establishes a test fault situation on either the positive or negative half-wave of the power cycle and determines whether the detection mechanisms within the device appropriately detect the test fault and whether the device would trip in the event of an actual fault. Additional functionality of the auto-monitoring circuit permits automatic verification that the device is properly wired, that is, not miswired, and determines whether the device has reached the end of its useful life.

The control circuit outputs a first or second voltage to an operating coil inside the latching solenoid to bring the connector connection into the locked or unlocked state, respectively.

The first and second part may be joined via the respective joints through a current transformer interposed between the first and second parts. The respective mounts may be configured to receive a current from a current source and pass the received current through the current transformer via the first and second parts inducing a current in the current transformer. The induced current may be useable to measure the current from the current source. Methods for fabricating the current measurement connector may include die casting the first and second parts and press fitting the first and second parts at the respective joints through the current transformer. Methods for use may include withstanding a fault current pulse and dissipating heat associated with the pulse via the first and second parts.
