    • A digital mixer includes a MO switch and a MO fader in a signal transmission route from each input channel to a bus of a MIX_MINUS type, a signal of the input channel is supplied to the MIX bus without control on its level when the MO switch is OFF, while being supplied to the MIX bus after being controlled on its level by the MOL fader when the MO switch is ON. When the MO switch is changed from OFF to ON, a level adjustment amount by the MOL fader is set to a value so that a signal passing therethrough comes to have zero level.

    • A system for generating mixed audio output using a multi-dimensional audio map includes a computer processor and a multi-dimensional crossfader configured to implement a method. A first audio file is read. A multi-dimensional audio map includes a plurality of audio attribute layers, each including a first dimension representing an audio attribute value for a location defined by at least two other dimensions within a multi-dimensional space. A path is determined to transition between two points in the multi-dimensional audio map. A transition is performed between the two points in the multi-dimensional audio map by selecting corresponding values from each of the plurality of audio attribute layers between the two points. A mixed output is generated by applying the corresponding values from each of the plurality of audio attribute layers between the two points to a portion of the first audio file.

    • User is allowed to designate a desired mode defining the respective numbers of channels and mixing buses, and processing for mixing input signals of the number of channels corresponding to the designated mode is performed repetitively to generate signals for the individual buses. The time of arrival of the last step in the mixing processing for the number of channels, corresponding to the designated mode, is detected to output an accumulation result obtained at the last step, and new accumulation is started with a digital audio signal inputted at a step following the last step. Digital audio signals processed by a first signal processing circuit are stored into a memory and transmitted to a second signal processing circuit via a cascade-connection. The second signal processing circuit adds the audio signal, processed for each of the steps, to audio signals input via the cascade-connection and writes added signal into the memory.

    • An audio signal processing apparatus performs audio signal process composed of a plurality of channels each having parameters used in the audio signal process. The audio signal processing apparatus has a plurality of channel strips, each channel strip being assigned with a channel and being provided with manipulators for adjusting values of the parameters of the assigned channel. There are provided a plurality of storing sections having different priorities relative to each other, each storing section being capable of storing a setting indicative of a channel set to a channel strip for assignment thereto. A changing section changes the settings stored in the storing sections. An assigning section is activated when the setting stored in one of the plurality of the storing sections is changed by the changing section, then refers to all of the storing sections that currently store the settings for a channel strip, and assigns a channel to the channel strip according to the setting stored in a storing section having the highest priority among the storing sections referred to by the assigning section.
