摘要： Voice message processors are configured to produce text representations of voice messages. The text representations can be compacted based on one or more abbreviation libraries or rule libraries. Abbreviation processing can be applied to produce a compact text representation based on display properties of a destination device or to enhance user perception. Text representation length can be reduced based on abbreviations in a standard abbreviation list, a user specific abbreviation list, or a combination of standard and custom lists. In some examples, text length is shortened based on stored rules.

An electronic mail message is transmitted by using the at least one short message which includes a short message header portion and a short message data portion. The short message data portion includes a user data header portion having: a) an identifying data field to identify that the short message data portion includes addressing information in accordance with RFC 822, and b) a length data field identifying a length of the addressing information in accordance with RFC 822. The addressing information in accordance with RFC 822 includes data fields differentiated from one another by keywords.

The caller computing system then constructs a call invitation data structure that includes both an invitation to the callee to engage in a telephone conversation and the user-entered identification of the context of the telephone call. Upon receiving the call invitation data structure, the callee computing system reads the identification of the context of the telephone call, and then takes appropriate action based on the context for the telephone call.
