摘要： The present disclosure relates to a process for synthesis of mesotrione. The process comprises reacting 4-toluene sulfonyl chloride with alkali metal sulphite and alkali metal bicarbonate to obtain alkali metal toluene-4-sulfinate. The alkali metal toluene-4-sulfinate is reacted with alkali metal salt of monochloroacetic acid to obtain 4-methylsulfonyl toluene. Further, 4-methylsulfonyl toluene is nitrated to obtain 2-nitro-4-methylsulfonyl toluene. 2-nitro-4-methylsulfonyl toluene is oxidized and then halogenated to obtain 2-nitro-4-methylsulfonylbenzoyl halide. 2-nitro-4-methylsulfonylbenzoyl halide is reacted with alkali metal salt of 1,3-cyclohexanedione to obtain 3-(2-Nitro-4-methylsulfonylbenzoyloxy)cyclohexen-1-one which is reacted with base, a third fluid medium and cyanide ion source to obtain an amorphous mesotrione. The present disclosure also discloses the steps of converting the amorphous mesotrione to crystalline mesotrione having purity greater than 99%. The process of the present disclosure for preparing mesotrione is rapid, economic, and environment friendly.

摘要： A large scale field erected air cooled industrial steam condenser having heat exchanger panels independently loaded into and supported in a heat exchange frame section. A bottom bonnet runs along the bottom length of each heat exchanger panel for delivering steam to the bottom end of condenser tubes in the heat exchange panel and for receiving condensate formed in those same tubes. The tops of the tubes are connected to a top bonnet. Uncondensed steam and non-condensables are drawn into the top bonnet from the condenser tubes. A steam distribution manifold is suspended from the heat exchange section frame perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the heat exchange panels and beneath a center point of the heat exchange panels and delivers steam to each heat exchange panel via a single steam inlet located at a center point of each bottom bonnet.

摘要： Disclosed herein are a device and method for the easy removal of selected individual wells, selected groups/strips of wells, or all strips of wells quickly and safely from a well strip plate. A well strip extractor press may include a manually pivotable well strip plate carrier having an open bottom, and an adjustable well strip extractor assembly having multiple press arms positioned to engage the bottom of a well strip plate positioned in the well strip plate carrier. A user may manually position a selection of press arms to align with those well strips that the user wishes to remove from the well strip plate. The user may lower the plate carrier into a frame assembly that pivotably mounts the press arms, causing the selected well strips that are to be dislodged from the well strip plate to engage individual extractor pins on the selected press arms, in turn causing those extractor pins to push the bottom portions of the selected well strips upward so as to at least partially dislodge from their seating within the strip well plate. Thereafter, a user may slide the strip well plate out from the plate carrier and remove the selected well strips from the well strip plate with ease.
