摘要： An object of the present invention is to provide an aqueous coating composition with excellent finished appearance and removability in bell cleaning, and a method for forming a multilayer coating film having excellent smoothness by a 3-coat-1-bake method including successively applying an aqueous first colored coating composition, an aqueous second colored coating composition, and a clear coating composition to a substrate, and heat-curing the resulting three layers of the multilayer coating film all at once. The present invention provides an aqueous coating composition containing an acrylic resin (A), a curing agent (B), and a urethane resin emulsion (C) with a weight average molecular weight of 2,000 to 50,000, the urethane resin emulsion (C) being prepared using constituent components containing a polyisocyanate component and a polyol component as starting materials, wherein the polyisocyanate component contains an alicyclic diisocyanate, and the polyol component contains a polycarbonate diol in an amount of 50 mass %, based on the total amount of the polyol component.

摘要： The invention is directed to a method of making a neutralized polymer composition (“NPC”) suitable for a golf ball component comprising the steps of: providing an acid copolymer composition; soaking the acid copolymer composition in an organic acid to form a soaked polymeric composition wherein substantially all of the organic acid is absorbed within the acid copolymer composition; providing a cation source in an amount sufficient to neutralize the acid copolymer and organic acid; and melt processing the soaked polymeric composition and cation source to form a neutralized polymer composition. The invention also relates to a method of making a golf ball incorporating the NPC made according to the inventive method and to the resulting golf ball.

摘要： The present invention provides a method of producing a masterbatch which can yield a masterbatch that contains a metal salt compound and has an improved moldability with little coloration.The method of producing a masterbatch according to the present invention is a method of producing a masterbatch in which a metal salt compound is incorporated into a polyester resin, the method being characterized by comprising: a first step of obtaining a kneaded product by feeding the polyester resin and the metal salt compound to an extruder and melt-kneading the polyester resin and the metal salt compound; and a second step of, while continuing kneading after the first step, further feeding the polyester resin to the extruder and kneading the resulting mixture, wherein, in the first step, the polyester resin and the metal salt compound are fed at such a mass ratio that the amount of the metal salt compound is not more than twice the amount of the polyester resin; the total amount of the polyester resin fed in the first and second steps and the metal salt compound fed in the first step is, in terms of mass ratio, in the range of 2 to 20 times the total amount of the polyester resin and the metal salt compound that are fed in the first step.

摘要： A thermoset composite material that my used in the fabrication of structural components including railroad ties comprise a substantially homogeneous blend of an amount of vulcanized rubber particles including a predetermined ratio of different particles sizes, and a thermoset elastomeric binding agent added to the vulcanized rubber particles. The blend may comprise about 30% to about 97% by weight of the vulcanized rubber particles, and the blend is subjected to compression molding at a predetermined temperature and pressure for a resident time period forming the composite material. The ratio of different rubber particle sizes is selected so that the composite material has a desired density or is within a range of desired densities.

摘要： The instant invention provides an aqueous dispersion, a coating composition, coating layers and coated article made therefrom. The coating composition according to the present invention comprises: (1) the inventive aqueous dispersion comprising the melt blending product of: (a) from 50 to 99 percent by weight of one or more polyethylene terephthalate resins, based on the total solid content of the dispersion; (b) from 1 to 50 percent by weight of one or more stabilizing agents comprising at least one second polyester, based on the total solid content of the dispersion, wherein said second polyester (i) has a carboxylic acid group and an acid number equal to or greater than 15, based on the solid content of the second polyester; or (ii) is a self-dispersing sulfopolyester; (c) one or more neutralizing agents; and (d) from 15 to 90 percent by weight of water, based on the total weight of the dispersion; wherein said dispersion has a solid content of 10 to 85 percent, based on the total weight of the dispersion; and (2) optionally one or more cross-linking agents.
