摘要： Prior embodiments for methods and apparatuses for online tutoring are disclosed. A method of recording a tutoring session is disclosed. Recording a tutoring session includes recording what was written on the whiteboard technology, which will include extemporaneous written explanations, what was said via audio, and the ability to see the tutor. In an embodiment, recording of a tutoring session enables a tutoring company to monitor the tutors and review the recordings for quality control purposes. In another embodiment, the recordings are made available for reference at a later date for students who are being tutored. Students can download the recordings of the sessions, which they can then refer to at a later date to go over previous topics covered. In another embodiment, parents of the students being tutored are supplied with access to the recorded video of their child being tutored.

摘要： An application delivers educational, entertainment or work-related content including videos and documents to any computing device of a user via an account, each account being uniquely identified. Upon each login, the application checks whether the user is already logged in on another computing device and issues a warning or logs out the new device. The application also checks all user accounts periodically to determine whether one account is logged into more than one computing device. Each video or document is associated with a course and has a corresponding course code. An institution database lists courses that a student is currently enrolled in. Another database records videos watched or documents viewed via a student account. Each student account is allowed a maximum number of courses or is limited by the courses in which they are actually enrolled. The application checks whether the videos watched correspond to more than the courses allowed and if so, then access by the student account is blocked.

摘要： An improved machine learning system is provided. For example, a content management server may provide a digital assessment of a user's handwriting to assess the user's knowledge of a language. The assessment may comprise adaptive technology to help determine initial questions to provide to the user as well as follow-up questions to clarify appropriate remediation content in a particular context. The content management server may also provide real-time analysis, including assessing multiple users at the same time in adjusting the assessment based on the digital input from each of these users. In some examples, the content management server may incorporate handwriting analysis methods to perform object detection and score handwriting input.
