摘要： Various pipe insulations and apparatuses for insulating pipe that employ magnetic closures are disclosed herein. Pipe insulation is configured to fit substantially around a pipe. In one case, the pipe insulation has a lengthwise split. A magnetic closure is attached to a first lengthwise edge of the pipe insulation along a first side of the lengthwise split. The magnetic closure is configured to magnetically mate with another closure attached to a second lengthwise edge along a second side of the lengthwise split to hold the pipe insulation substantially around the pipe.

摘要： An exchanger for a pool, large storage tank, or pond is described herein. In one embodiment, the exchanger includes a diffuser hub, exchanger extension arms that extend radially outward from the diffuser hub, one or more exchanger rings that intersect with the heat exchanger extension arms, and a fill tube that extends to the diffuser hub. One or both of the heat exchanger arms and/or the exchanger rings include fluid apertures that direct fluid into the pool. Fluid pumped into the fill tube may flow through into the diffuser, through the exchanger extension arms and/or the one or more exchanger rings, and out through the fluid apertures at various locations into the pool. As such, heated fluid, or fluid to be mixed, for example, may be more evenly and quickly distributed into the pool.

摘要： Aspects and embodiments of inductively heated tank cars are described. In one embodiment, an inductive heating system includes an inductive heating module with a radially-curved pancake coil. The heating module can be positioned by an actuator assembly to inductively heat the contents of a tank car. In one example, the actuator assembly includes an assembly base including at least one base pole, an extension channel, and an extension actuator. The actuator assembly also includes an extension arm to retract into and extend out from the extension channel based on the extension actuator, an inductive heating module pivotally secured about an end of the extension arm, and a heating module lift actuator to lift the inductive heating module about the pivot at the end of the extension arm. By lifting and/or pivoting the inductive heating module, it can be positioned proximate to the tank car for inductive heat transfer.

In one embodiment, an inductive heating system for tank cars includes a radially-curved pancake coil, a coil housing that surrounds at least a portion of the radially-curved pancake coil, and a frame structure comprising at least one attachment mechanism to secure the frame structure to an exterior surface of a tank car. The system can also include an induction heating power supply to supply power for inductively heating the tank car using the radially-curved pancake coil. When installed to the tank car, the coil housing is assembled with the frame structure to secure the radially-curved pancake coil to the exterior surface of the tank car. Any number of radially-curved pancake coils can be secured to the exterior surface of the tank car to heat the contents of the tank car through inductive heating.

摘要： An exchanger for a tank is described herein. The exchanger may be relied upon in a trailer tank, for example, or any other type of tank that stores fluid. The exchanger includes an inlet, a central fluid conduit, one or more exchanger extension arms having fluid apertures that direct fluid into a tank at various locations, and one or more supports that support the central fluid conduit and the exchanger extension arms. The fluid apertures may be positioned relatively evenly across the exchanger extension arms and/or the central conduit to direct fluid up or at various directions into the tank. Thus, fluid pumped into the inlet of the exchanger may flow through the central conduit, into the exchanger extension arms, and out through the fluid apertures at various locations into the tank. As such, heated fluid, for example, may be more evenly and quickly distributed into the tank.
