摘要： A digital planetarium apparatus includes an original image generator, an intermediate image generator, and a fish-eye lens. The original image generator is formed of two video projectors and generates semicircular images in display devices inside the respective video projectors. The intermediate image generator optically focuses the two semicircular images generated by the original image generator to thereby generate a circular image. The fish-eye lens projects the circular image generated by the intermediate image generator.

摘要： A planetarium apparatus of this invention memorizes a plurality of texture image data expressing conditions of a surface of an object in a picture memory by relating to the range of a distance from a viewpoint to the object. One of the texture image data in the picture memory is read out in accordance with a distance from the viewpoint to the object and by adjusting its size a texture image on the basis of the texture image data read out is pasted to an area of the entire image occupied by the object. Further, a remaining portion is formed as a real time image. In consequence, when a take-off from, or a landing onto, the surface of a celestial body is represented, a picture in which the condition of surrounding cosmic space is reproduced in real time, and the surface pattern of the celestial body from which a take off, or onto which a landing can both be displayed with a high degree of quality.

摘要： Provided is a quick-responsive voice control technique even in use in a planetarium. A control device of a projector of a planetarium includes: a storage unit that stores a plurality of commands for controlling the projector, flags indicating whether or not the respective commands can be executed, and keywords associated with the respective commands; a voice acquisition unit that acquires voice data; a control unit that controls the control device; and a communication unit that communicates with the projector. The control unit determines whether or not each of the commands for the projector can be executed on the basis of state information of the projector, the state information being acquired through the communication unit, updates the flags on the basis of the determination result, generates character string information from voice data acquired by the voice acquisition unit, acquires a command in which an executable flag is set from the storage unit using the character string information as a search key, and transmits the acquired command to the projector.
