    • An electrical connector includes a housing having a cavity and a wafer stack received in the cavity. The wafer stack includes a plurality of electrical wafers arranged parallel to each other within the cavity. Each wafer includes a dielectric body and a leadframe having plural conductors held in the dielectric body, the conductors having terminating contacts and mating contacts with leads therebetween. The terminating contacts are both horizontally staged and vertically staged and exposed in a pocket of the dielectric body for electrical termination. The mating contacts being exposed for electrical connection. The electrical connector includes a flex harness includes a plurality of FPCBs. The FPCBs are electrically connected to corresponding wafers. Each FPCB has a stepped mating interface with conductors along the stepped mating interface configured to be electrically connected to corresponding terminating contacts.

    • A connector module includes a housing and a gasket. The housing is defined by a first shell and a second shell that mate at a seam. The housing includes a cable exit region extending along a cable axis. A passage through the cable exit region has an elliptical cross-section along a plane perpendicular to the cable axis. The gasket is within the passage of the cable exit region. An outer perimeter of the gasket in an uncompressed state has a non-elliptical cross section along a plane perpendicular to the cable axis. The gasket has an outer side engaging the inner surface of the cable exit region and an inner side configured to engage at least one cable received within the cable exit region. As the shells are mated, the gasket is sandwiched in a compressed state between the at least one cable and the cable exit region.

    • Debris-removing cap includes a cap body having a receiving cavity and an interior surface disposed within the receiving cavity. The cap body is configured to be attached to an optical device such that a mating face of the optical device is disposed within the receiving cavity. The interior surface is configured to face the mating face of the optical device. The debris-removing cap also includes a lens wiper that is coupled to the interior surface within the receiving cavity and extends away from the interior surface toward the mating face of the optical device. The lens wiper moves relative to the mating face when activated by a user of the debris-removing cap. The lens wiper engages a lens of the mating face when activated by the user to remove debris from the lens.
