摘要： A contact system includes at least one first contact, at least one second contact, and at least one movable contact. A coil is provided which, when energized generates a force. A magnet is also provided, the magnet having a magnetic force. The forces of the coil and magnet attract the at least one movable contact to the at least one first contact. A return spring having a spring force cooperates with the at least one movable contact to return the at least one movable contact to the at least one second contact when the coil is not energized. The sum of the forces applied by the coil and the magnet are sufficient to overcome the spring force of the return spring to provide a balanced force to both the at least one second contact and the at least one first contact.

摘要： An alkoxysilane comprising a functional group is used as an additive in the silver nanoparticle ink, and as an adhesion promoter (or primer layer) on the surface of the substrate in order to enhance the adhesion of silver nanoparticle inks on temperature-sensitive plastic substrates. The combination of the functionalized alkoxysilane both in the ink and on the substrate's surface provides enhanced adhesion after annealing the ink at a low temperature. The adhesion of the annealed films improves from a 0B-3B level to 4B-5B when tested according to ASTM D3359. No degradation of adhesion and no change of color are observed after aging the annealed films in a humidity chamber.

摘要： A primer layer comprising a polyvinyl butyral resin enhances adhesion of silver nanoparticle inks onto plastic substrates. The primer layer comprises a polyvinyl butyral (PVB) resin having a polyvinyl alcohol content between about 18 wt. % to about 21 wt. %. The PVB resin may also have a glass transition temperature greater than about 70° C. Optionally, the PVB primer layer may further be enhanced by cross-linking using a melamine-formaldehyde resin. Conductive traces formed on plastic substrates having the PVB primer layer exhibit an acceptable cross-hatch adhesion rating with little to no degradation of adhesion being observed after exposure to 4-days salt mist aging or 1-day high humidity aging.

摘要： An electrical connector includes a housing having a cavity and a wafer stack received in the cavity. The wafer stack includes a plurality of electrical wafers arranged parallel to each other within the cavity. Each wafer includes a dielectric body and a leadframe having plural conductors held in the dielectric body, the conductors having terminating contacts and mating contacts with leads therebetween. The terminating contacts are both horizontally staged and vertically staged and exposed in a pocket of the dielectric body for electrical termination. The mating contacts being exposed for electrical connection. The electrical connector includes a flex harness includes a plurality of FPCBs. The FPCBs are electrically connected to corresponding wafers. Each FPCB has a stepped mating interface with conductors along the stepped mating interface configured to be electrically connected to corresponding terminating contacts.

The gasket is within the passage of the cable exit region. An outer perimeter of the gasket in an uncompressed state has a non-elliptical cross section along a plane perpendicular to the cable axis. The gasket has an outer side engaging the inner surface of the cable exit region and an inner side configured to engage at least one cable received within the cable exit region. As the shells are mated, the gasket is sandwiched in a compressed state between the at least one cable and the cable exit region.
