摘要： Improved balers may include a traveling chute that may reduce wear and tear and maintenance, and/or improve efficiency by reducing downtime. The traveling chute may include moving guides that include channels that engage tongues of stationary guide rails disposed on a baler. For example, the channels may be substantially rectangular channels that run the length of the moving guide. Similarly, the stationary guides may include substantially rectangular tongues and the moving guides may slide across the tongues and upper surfaces of the stationary guides as the traveling chute moves between various positions. The moving guides may include polyoxymethylene inserts in which the channels may be provided. The moving guides and stationary guides may be provided as a kit for attachment to various baling apparatuses. Additional features and components also are described.

摘要： Tools for installing network hardware in server racks may self-adhere to a server rack, alleviating the need for cap screws to attach the tool to the rack. The tool also may support the weight and aid alignment of the network hardware in a rack unit during installation. In some embodiments, the tool may include one or more spring-loaded locks adapted to couple to corresponding holes in the rack. The network device may rest atop the tool so that the network device is properly aligned for installation in the rack unit above the tool. In operation, a technician may couple one or more tools to the rack in the slot below the intended rack unit for the network device to provide hands-free support of the weight of the network device. The technician may then use both hands to screw the network device to the rack.

摘要： A lifting insert, particularly for embedment in the edges of thin concrete elements is disclosed. The insert has a head at one end which has a through aperture for the connection of a co-operating lifting link and another end for embedment within the concrete. The head of the insert has an interior region bounded on each side by an exterior region which extends to the longitudinal edges of the insert. The exterior region is thicker than the interior region and the boundary between the two regions defines an abutment surface. The thickness and width of the interior region is dimensioned to allow the lifting link to be connected to the head of the insert and the thickness of the outer region is dimensioned so as to restrict the rotation of the lifting link when a load is applied normal to the axis of the insert, and to effectively transfer the load by a couple developed across the full cross-section of the insert e.g. when tilting the concrete element from a horizontal position to a vertical position.

The lubricating composition comprises a lubricating medium and the product of dehydration of natural minerals or a mixture of natural minerals, or of synthesized hydrates.The dehydration product contains the oxides MgO and/or SiO2 and/or Al2O3 and/or CaO and/or Fe2O3 and/or K2O and/or Na2O and has a particle size in a range of 100-100000 nm. The method for producing the lubricating composition comprises a step in which hydrates of metal and/or non-metal oxides are dehydrated at a temperature of from 300 to 1200° C., a step in which the dehydration product is stabilized by being kept at a temperature of from 700 to 1200° C. for a period of 1 to 3 hours, and a step in which the resultant product is mixed with a lubricating medium.The resultant lubricating composition not only aids in reducing loads on friction surfaces, but also is capable of performing the function of strengthening friction surfaces as a result of the plastic deformation of the metal in nanovolumes and the surface layer being brought into an active nanostructured state, said surface layer thus being strengthened. At the same time, the grains of the metal undergo intensive fragmentation, the density of the grain boundaries is increased, and the conditions for the diffusion of carbon deep into the surface (vertically) and into the grains (horizontally) are improved.
