An example system includes a convoy moving at a first speed, the convoy including a first and second powertrain vehicle, a first land vehicle disposed between the first powertrain vehicle and the second powertrain vehicle, the first land vehicle including a first transit carrier, and a second land vehicle coupled to the first land vehicle, the second land vehicle including a second transit carrier having a first movement system and first stacking couplers, and a transit pod coupled to the second transit carrier, the transit pod having second stacking couplers, the second stacking couplers coupled to the first stacking couplers, and a controller to, in response to a request for a third transit carrier traveling at a second speed to join the convoy, instruct the third transit carrier to join the convoy at the first speed.

摘要： An apparatus and system for: combining independent driving vehicles into a single assembly for condensed, efficient, variable capacity transportation on common routes; and for separating into independent vehicles for flexibility on diverse routes. Connection logistics are exchanged locally via line of sight optical channel. Retractable coupling and mated coupling on opposing ends of the vehicles provide multiple degrees of freedom (DOF) to accommodate misalignment during initial dynamic engagement, and lock as rigidly coupled assembly with zero DOF. Mating vehicles' doors open during transit, permitting inter-vehicle movement and consolidation of passengers en route to urban locales, and release of empty vehicles. On return, independent vehicles combine to dense passenger vehicles from urban locales for redistribution of passengers in individual vehicles that later separate for diverse destinations. Slaved vehicle systems allow one vehicle to control coupled vehicles' systems of retractable suspension, coordinated steering, power sharing. Utility vehicles couple to assembly for service.

摘要： The recreational vehicle trailer chassis includes two main frame rails running front to back with a series of perpendicular connecting main cross-members to form a structural configuration increasing the torsional rigidity of the frame. The main floor and support framing has a front and rear living area generally divided by the direction of structural trusses. Above the rear and middle main frame rails is the rear and middle floor framing formed with a plurality of frame members. Between the rear and middle main frame rails and below the rear and middle main floor support framing are structural web beam trusses perpendicular to the main frame rails along with vertical support columns that connect the lower main frame to the rear and middle living area floor framing further increasing structural torsional rigidity. Above the forward main frame rails and vertical support columns is the front floor framing with a plurality of frame members along with structural web beam trusses running parallel with the forward living area floor. Outward from the main frame rails and vertical floor support columns is the front to back side saddle framing to allow access to the basement area internally and externally. The furthermost forward floor framing sections are where the hitch structure and hitch are located.

摘要： The invention described herein relates to an articulating trailer. The articulating trailer is configured such that it can be used with an automobile and/or an all-terrain vehicle. The articulating trailer may have two or more removable free wheels or skids mounted to it. The wheels (or skids) may be mounted substantially on the sides of the trailer. Alternatively, the wheels (or skids) may be mounted substantially underneath the trailer bed. The articulating trailer is configured with a trailer tongue extension. The trailer tongue extension is configured such that it attaches to the trailer at one or more independent attachment points. A user may release one attachment point of the trailer tongue extension causing the trailer to articulate.
