    • A select spring coupler structure is outfitted upon a flat finisher assembly or apparatus so as to enhance the user's ability to maintain the flat finisher apparatus. The flat finisher apparatus essentially comprises at least one (tension) coil spring removably held in tension between opposing anchor structures. The select spring coupler structure according to the present invention is outfittable upon the coil spring at the first spring end of the coil spring. The spring coupler structure comprises certain radially extending structure for engaging the first spring end and certain finger engaging structure for enabling manual alteration (i.e. via one's digits) of spring tension so as to disengage the first spring end from respective anchoring structure. The spring coupler structure may be twisted into engagement with the first spring end(s) via the helical structure of adjacent loops of the coil spring to couple therewith.

    • An electromagnetic relay assembly comprises a rotatable electromagnetic coil assembly, first and second pairs of opposed permanent magnets, and a switch assembly. The coil assembly comprises a coil, a core, and a rotatable coil housing. The coil is wound around the core. The core comprises opposed core termini, and the coil housing has an axis of rotation orthogonal to the coil axis. The magnet pairs fixedly positioned adjacent the core termini such that the core termini are respectively displacable intermediate the magnet pairs. The coil operates to create a magnetic field directable through the core for imparting coil housing rotation about the axis of rotation via attraction to the positioned/anchored magnets. The core termini displace linkage arms, and the linkage arms actuate contact-spring assemblies of the switch assembly intermediate open and closed positions.

    • An apparatus and trigger mechanism enables a user to ergonomically discharge aerosol container contents. The apparatus comprises a trigger unit, a handle assembly, a tension member, a tubular member, an operative end housing assembly, and an actuator assembly. The trigger unit interfaces the tension member to the handle assembly. The tension member transmits force from the trigger unit to the actuator assembly via the tubular structure, which structure interconnects the handle assembly and operative end housing. The operative end housing houses or receives the actuator assembly and an aerosol container. The transmitted force actuates the aerosol container via the actuator assembly. A method of assembling the apparatus is further described.

    • A gaming system enables a gamer to sequentially play primary and secondary games. The gaming system comprises a primary gaming apparatus having a bifurcated electronic (e.g. liquid crystal or organic light emitting diode) display and a secondary gaming apparatus positioned behind the bifurcated electronic display relative to the gamer. The bifurcated electronic display enables (1) primary gaming when in a closed position, and (2) secondary gaming when in an open position. In other words, the secondary gaming apparatus is viewable when the bifurcated electronic display opens. The primary gaming apparatus effects or provides visually perceptible substantially seamless primary game imagery across the junction of the bifurcated electronic display.     • A self-locking security mechanism for coin-operated machines. This mechanism consists of two units. The first unit mounts inside a coin-operated machine in alignment with the coin chute for receiving coins passing through the first unit. A second unit has a flexible bag secured thereon into which the coins are stored after passing through the second unit. This second unit also includes a door, which slides to an open condition by two teeth from the first unit when the second unit is connected by sliding into the first unit. The door is pushing the pivoting arm, which passes the snap stops and stays in preset condition. A pivoting arm is attached to the pivoting stopper with a spring between them. When the second unit is removed from the first unit, the door slides to a closed condition and releases the stopper. The spring lifts the stopper and blocks the door from sliding to an open condition. Only an authorized person can unlock the locked coin receptacle.

The air replacement system comprises conduit extending intermediate the forward and rearward sections as defined by the wall-to-roof sections. The air intake assembly communicates with the conduit for directing inlet airflow to the open space, and the air exhaust assembly comprises exhausts airflow from the open space.

    • A container securement device enables a user to secure a cargo container to a carrier deck. The device includes a base having a projecting shear block received in the lock-actuating opening of the container. A shaft-mounted head rotates between an unlocked or loading position in which the head moves through the locking opening and a locked position in which the container is secured. Automatic entry and release are provided by a selected interchangeable spring element within the base biasing the head to the locked position but permitting movement to the unlocked position when torque is applied by engagement of the container with a cam surface on the head. The spring element may be interchanged as may be required by anticipated climactic and/or temperature conditions. Each spring element is actuable by a uniquely configured shaft member having a spring-receiving end capable of cooperating with at least two types of springs.
