    • Interlocking hook assemblies for elastic and rigid straps and cords including a strap member and a pair of similar interlocking hook devices connected to each end of strap member which can be adjusted to desired length. Each interlocking hook device is provided with apertures which are fixedly attached to the distal end of the hook body opposite the hook. Each hook device can be connected, preferably in a locking manner, onto the other hook device creating a closed hook assembly thereby disabling the hooks to prevent entanglement of elastic or rigid straps when not in use or during storage and/or transportation. Multiple straps can be connected end-to-end forming an elongated elastic or rigid strap of desired length having closed central hooks with open hooks on each end. Interlocking hook assemblies for elastic or rigid straps and cords including two similar interlocking hook devices with a connector groove and a dual bar adjustable webbing slider for elastic or rigid straps and cord members. Each interlocking hook device is provided with a connector groove designed to allow each hook to engage the other within their respective grooves and to releasably lock them together.

    • A tie rail 100 for a utility vehicle having a tray with at least a first wall 3. The first wall 3 is adapted to extend substantially in a first plane 4 (see FIG. 1A). The first wall 3 of a typical utility vehicle 1 may have a first outer edge 5 defining an internal recess 6. The tie rail 100 includes a first member 110 that is substantially rigid and strong, elongate and continuous. When mounted on the first wall 3, the first member 110 is spaced from and extends substantially parallel to the first plane 4 and the first outer edge 5. The tie rail 100 also has at least two anchor sections 120 extending transversely to a longitudinal axis 112 (see FIG. 2C) of the first member 110. The anchor sections 120 are generally adapted to be vertically aligned in installation and include at least two spaced anchor points 122. Each anchor section 120 and each pair of anchor points 122 are each adapted to align with one of the vehicle structural substrates 7. The anchor sections 120 are preferably formed as a continuous unitary piece with the first member 110. The anchor sections 120 each include an outer anchor point 126 at or near the outer end 124. The outer anchor point 126 is spaced from both the first member 110 and an internal anchor point 114 located on or in the first member 110.

    • A tie-down loop assembly is configured to attach to a mounting surface and includes a mounting bracket, a biasing member, and a loop-isolator assembly. The mounting bracket has at least one carrier feature that has a carrier articulation axis. The loop-isolator assembly includes a loop having a substantially straight portion with a loop articulation axis and an isolator coupled to the loop straight portion. The isolator has a contact element and a loop-isolator articulation axis located coincidentally with the carrier articulation axis. When an articulation force is applied to the loop-isolator assembly, it causes the loop-isolator assembly to articulate relative to the mounting bracket, while the isolator contact element slippingly engages the biasing member movable portion. The engagement applies a biasing force to the contact element causing resistance to articulate the loop-isolator assembly relative to the bracket.
