    • A connector apparatus, system, and method of use comprising a reusable connector that when attached to gear may be used without tools to removably and adjustably attach the gear securely to a base unit such as belts having different widths or a MOLLE/PALS attaching system. Connectors may comprise disengageable uni-directional teeth on mating slide and engagement members. In various example embodiments each connector can simultaneously engage with multiple rows of straps in a MOLLE/PALS attaching system, the connectors can be used to mount gear alternatively either high or low, and multiple connectors can be used on a single piece of gear. A user can adjust the connection of gear while wearing the gear using certain example embodiments of the connector.

    • Disclosed is a bi-directional watercraft, such as a surfboard, fin systems therefore, and method of use. Example fin systems may allow a user of the watercraft to perform bi-directional maneuvers and stunts. The watercraft may be bi-directionally symmetric or asymmetric with fins mounted on its undersurface on both ends. When underway, the fins at the operating rear of the watercraft deploy for stabilization in cross-currents, while the fins at the operating front remain pivoted out of the way so that they do not “catch” water and destabilize the watercraft. When the watercraft reverses in direction, and the front and rear ends swap with one another, biasing mechanisms cause the fins now at the front to pivot away and hydrodynamic forces cause the fins now at the rear to deploy. In some cases, holders keep the fins from inadvertently deploying when they are not needed.

    • Provided in one aspect is an annular gas ring within or adjacent a barrel to increase the efficient transfer of pressurized gas to one or more gas ports, which may communicate the high-pressure gas to a piston to cycle the action of the firearm. Provided in another aspect are gas ports may adjacent the chamber, which may communicate pressurized gas from near the chamber to distally-extending gas tubes that communicate the pressurized gas to a distally located piston to cycle the action. A modular gas system is provided comprising a coupler that couples a barrel with a chamber and forms there-between an annular gas ring with ports that communicate pressurized gas to separate longitudinally-extending cylindrical gas tubes that feed into a gas block that supports the barrel and forms the cylinder for the piston.
