摘要： A method and apparatus is provided for populating and submitting electronic forms by proxy over a data-packet-network. The apparatus comprises software running on a system of network-connected servers that enables a user, connected to one of the servers, to navigate to a site containing an electronic form and obtain data about the site and the form. The data obtained is used in conjunction with data about the user to construct a machine readable job order upon user request that may be executed for the purpose of automatic form population and submission to a host sponsoring the site. Upon acceptance of the submitted form, data used for log-in is stored where it is entered along with site data as a new registered site item for a user such that future navigation to the site, auto log-in and data return is performed automatically on behalf of the user.

摘要： A modularized routing system includes a control element and forwarding elements, all of which are connected via a private network, for example, an Ethernet. The control element computes a routing table for each of the forwarding elements. Based on information in the routing table, a forwarding element decrements a time-to-live counter in the packet header only if the forwarding element is the first one in the routing system encountered by the packet. Accordingly, the forwarding elements preserve the behavior of a single router while using substantially the same routing protocols as the single router.

摘要： A network-based system for providing automatic login to a network-connected data source on behalf of a network-connected user accessing the system through a wireless communication appliance is provided. In preferred embodiments, a user operating the appliance while connected to the network invokes a hyperlink displayed in the user interface, the hyperlink containing a browser instruction for contacting the network-connected server node, the server node directing automated navigation to and login to the data source defined by the hyperlink, the login is accomplished through automated insertion of user data retrieved from the data repository into the appropriate fields of a login request.
