    • According to one general aspect, a method of preemptively caching data within a mobile device may include detecting that a triggering event has occurred. The method may also include, in response to the triggering event, automatically performing an action associated with the triggering event, wherein the action includes retrieving anticipated data from a remote device. The method may include caching at least part of the anticipated data within a memory of the mobile device. The method may include receiving a request, from a user, for requested data, wherein the requested data includes at least a portion of the anticipated data. The method may include fulfilling at least part of the request for the requested data by retrieving the anticipated data portion of the requested data from the memory of the mobile device.

    • A computing device is provided herein. For instance, the computing device comprises base and lid assemblies, and a connector. The base assembly includes a base housing, a first hinge portion attached to the housing, a keyboard, a touch-based input surface, and an electronic component within the housing. The housing includes a first surface at least partly surrounding the keyboard and touch-based input, and a second opposing surface. The lid assembly includes a lid housing, a second hinge portion, and a display, and includes a first surface at least partly surrounding the display and a second surface opposite the first surface. The connector has a third hinge portion, a fourth hinge portion and a body extending therebetween. The third hinge portion is rotatably affixed to the first hinge portion of the base assembly, and the fourth hinge portion is rotatably affixed to the second hinge portion of the lid assembly.

    • According to another general aspect, a method of managing a first user's use of an apparatus may include automatically detecting, via at least one sensor operably coupled with the apparatus a presence of the first user within a detection area, wherein the first user is authorized to use the apparatus. In various embodiments, the method may also include automatically detecting, via the at least one sensor, a change in the first user's status in relation to the apparatus. In some embodiments, the method may further include automatically adjusting, based upon the first user's status change, at least one authorization level of the first user, wherein the authorization level dictates, at least in part, how the first user may use the apparatus.
