摘要： A firearm suppressor is provided. The suppressor includes a cylindrical body having first end and a second end opposite the first end. The cylindrical body includes an internal bore, the first end includes a receiving bore and the second end includes a discharge bore aligning with one another. The present invention further includes a plurality of baffles secured within the internal bore. Each of the baffles include a frusto-conical sidewall having an apex opposite a base. The apex includes an axial bore and is disposed towards the receiving bore. The base is disposed toward the discharge bore. The apex includes a semi-circular cut from the sidewall into the axial bore, forming a semi-circular protrusion. Further, a port is formed through the sidewall on an opposite side of the semi-circular cut and below the apex.

摘要： A user configurable and maintainable firearm sound suppressor is provided. The sound suppressor is a magnum powered rifle suppressor that can be configured to provide suitable use on a high-powered rifle or a pistol. A mount interface of the suppressor can be replaced and a dual taper baffle can be removed and replaced with a pistol recoil booster system which allows optimal use for both rifles and pistols. The dual taper baffle and rifle or magnum mounting interface adds safety factor such that system durability and safety are not compromised. The user configurable and maintainable firearm suppressor allows the end user to have ideal firearm handling characteristics for a wide variety of firearms, reducing the need to purchase numerous sound suppressors for a collection of firearms. A novel two-part end cap allows disassembly of the suppressor and prevents inadvertent loosening of component parts during use.

摘要： A sound suppressor for enhanced user serviceability is provided. The sound suppressor uses high temperature elastomer O-rings to maintain the alignment of the parts in assembly, to prevent loosening of the end caps, and most notably, to seal the suppressor baffles and end caps, so that carbon does not interact with the outer tube around the baffles, or the threads or connective geometry of the outer tube. This prevents carbon from locking the baffles in the tube, and allows ease of end user disassembly after extended amounts of rounds are fired, protecting the ability to maintain and service the sound suppressor without damage to the baffles or outer tube. This protects the end user's investment in the suppressor, as well as their investment in their $200 National Firearms Act Tax Stamp associated with the purchase of the sound suppressor.
