摘要： A system and method for searching and playing multimedia content on a social network portal is disclosed. The system and method includes hosting a social network portal of a user, wherein the social network portal displays information of the user. The method further includes integrating, on the social network portal of the user, a multimedia controller. A selection or mouse-over of the multimedia controller initiates and controls the playback and selection of a multimedia item on an integrated multimedia player. The method also includes enabling a user to simultaneously navigate the social network portal and stream content via the integrated multimedia player. A user can also search for or request multimedia content via the multimedia controller and player.

A device can include the text processing module, which receives text input from a user via text input means. The device can display the text in a user interface, along with one or more icons associated with software applications with which the text can be used or communicated. After the user has entered text, the user can activate a displayed icon to select the applications. The text processing module receives the selection and interacts with the selected application to display the text in the selected application and/or communicate the text to another person using the selected application. The text processing module can interact with user contacts to identify possible recipients for the text based on information in the text.

摘要： In one aspect, a system for presenting a share box with content information in response to an endorsement includes an endorsement sharing module that is responsive to user input and creates a sharing box having content derived from the user context and input request. The endorsement sharing module receives a user request to share information. In response, this endorsement sharing module determines the context of the user, retrieves content based on the context, filters the content based on publisher information, personalizes the share box content, and adds the content to a share box. The endorsement sharing module also adds one or more actions to the share box after which the share box is provided for display to the user.
