Based on information provided by an agent, such as an escrow agent or a settlement agent, the system creates a unique electronic record for each real estate transaction entered by the agent. The system receives update information, either automatically from other computers or via manual input from searchers, and uses this update information to track each real estate transaction. The system monitors the records and indicates when a lien holder has failed to release their lien after a statutory time period that begins after the passing of the settlement date. When the statutory time period has passed, the system generates a number of forms, including a demand letter. The demand letter is sent to the lien holder demanding them to release the lien. If the lien is not thereafter released, further legal documents can be generated and sent to a law firm for legal action to be taken against the delinquent lien holder.

摘要： The present invention provides a system and method for facilitating authentication and data/content integrity verification of printed documents underlying legal transactions and other documents requiring durability, including real estate and loan transactions, for example. A Unique Content Identifier parses the document one page (or other pre-determined segment) at a time. Each segment of the document is assigned a digit or group of digits, and each page or document segment can be provided with a single digit in the overall identifier. The entirety of digits associated with a document is aggregated into an authentication string. Upon receiving a request to process the document later, the present invention can authenticate and verify the integrity of the document by reading the presented document to obtain an authentication string, and then compare the new string with the previously stored string. Upon a successful match, the document is considered valid, authenticated and unaltered.

The magnetic valve reader determines a location and an orientation for a magnetic indicator device to indicate a device setting of an implantable medical device. The implantable medical device includes the magnetic indicator device coupled to a valve on the implantable medical device. External magnetic fields, specifically the Earth's magnetic field, may interfere with the compass and create an incorrect device setting indication. The electronic reader estimates the external magnetic fields to subtract the estimate from received data to minimize any influence that external magnetic field has on the accuracy of the device setting measurement.

摘要： An integrated catheter placement system for accurately placing a catheter within a patient's vasculature is disclosed. In one embodiment, the integrated system comprises a system console, a tip location sensor for temporary placement on the patient's chest, and an ultrasound probe. The tip location sensor senses a magnetic field of a stylet disposed in a lumen of the catheter when the catheter is disposed in the vasculature. The ultrasound probe ultrasonically images a portion of the vasculature prior to introduction of the catheter. ECG signal-based catheter tip guidance is included in the integrated system to enable guidance of the catheter tip to a desired position with respect to a node of the patient's heart. Various aspects for visualizing and manipulating display of the ECG signal data acquired via the present system, together with aspects of various ECG sensor configurations, are also disclosed.

摘要： Disclosed is a note card assembly that is watertight, yet accessible to remove a completed note card. In one embodiment the assembly has a generally rectangular shape in plan view and comprises a watertight envelope having an interior pocket defined by permanent seals on three sides and a resealable seal on the fourth side. A subassembly inside the pocket includes a layered sandwich of a rigid writing board, a note card having a CF coated top surface, and a transparent sheet having a CB coated bottom surface in contact with the top surface of the note card. When pressure is applied to the outer envelope, a chemical reaction takes place between the two coated layers leaving a permanent marking on the top surface of the note card.
