摘要： An on-board vehicle computing system stores values in a memory of a first engine control unit (ECU) and stores corresponding backup values in a memory of a second ECU. In this way, the second ECU provides data backup functionality for the first ECU's data. The system may retrieve a backup value from the first ECU and restore the corresponding value in the second ECU using the backup value. In one illustrative scenario, if an original engine ECU (EECU) fails and a replacement EECU is installed, the system can retrieve backup values for vehicle speed limiter (VSL) parameters from memory in a cab ECU (CECU) and update the corresponding data in the replacement EECU with the backup values.

摘要： One or more content providers push data related to: movies, movie products, digital movie content over a network (e.g., a LAN, a WAN, the Internet, or a wireless network) onto an information filling station which, in turn, wirelessly transacts (over a network based on the 802.11b protocol) and transmits any requested data to a portable computer-based device (e.g., laptop, a pen-based computer device, a PDA, a wireless phone, or a pager). The portable device performs financial transactions for: purchasing movie tickets (directly or via auctions), downloading digital entertainment content of interest (e.g., copy of a movie of interest, copy of a movie identified based on a pre-stored profile, copy of soundtrack of a movie of interest), or movie related products. Any purchased digital content is either transferred wirelessly onto the portable device or, optionally, sent on a storage medium to a physical address associated with the profile.

摘要： At least one of transmissions and receptions over allocated radio resources within a first timing advance group are synchronized using a first timer; and similar for allocated radio resources within a second timing advance group that are synchronized using a second timer. In response to determining that the first timer remains synchronized while the second timer is not synchronized with a radio network which has allocated the respective radio resources, a first procedure is followed for the case in which there is a primary component carrier within the second timing advance group and a different second procedure for the case in which there is no primary component carrier within the second timing advance group. In an exemplary embodiment, a message is sent to the radio network indicating that the second timer has expired. Various distinctions between the two procedures, and how the message is sent, are detailed for different embodiments.

A method may include determining that a pre-defined event has occurred and triggering a determination of a timing advance for a second component carrier relative to a timing advance of a first component carrier based upon occurrence of the predefined event. In this regard, both the component carriers are concurrently allocated to a mobile terminal. The method may also utilize the timing advance to synchronize communications on the second component carrier between the mobile terminal and a network. A corresponding apparatus and computer program product may also be provided.

摘要： A hanger assembly allows a user to hang a pullover garment from its top and remove the pullover garment quickly and easily without damaging it. The hanger assembly includes a handle to which is joined an elongated flexible holder. The handle has a hook portion including a flexible tip and a holder carrier portion including first and second opposed coupling members. The flexible holder is operationally coupled for slidable engagement with the first and second coupling members to allow the flexible holder to transition between a lengthwise compressed state and a partly relaxed state to hang the garment and between the partly relaxed state and a break-free state to remove the garment without stretching its neck opening. The flexible tip prevents the hanger assembly from jumping off a hanger rod as the user pulls down on the pullover garment to remove it.

According to the method, a target medium comprising at least a target nuclide material is irradiated in an irradiation zone with neutron irradiation. Radionuclides form in the target nuclide material as a result of the irradiation, and at least some of the formed radionuclides are ejected from the target nuclide material. The ejected radionuclides are then captured and collected in a carbon-based recoil capture material which does not have an empty cage structure at crystallographic level.
