摘要： The invention includes a tablet made from a coagulant that will improve the settling of suspended solids in an aqueous media such as wastewater, recycled water, potable water, storm water, swimming pool water, spa water, boiler water, cooling tower water and industrial process water. The agent is a tablet containing at least one salt from the aluminum sulfate family in a mixture of organic and inorganic binders. The mixed material is especially adapted to lend itself to high speed molding operations. Such agent, when in molded form, provides controlled dissolution in an aqueous media, exhibits strength and non-chipping characteristics which is a benefit in shipping and handling and is free from dusting, flaking or other deteriorative factors. In its tablet form, this agent can be used in combination with a holding apparatus having slotted opening zones.

The method can include providing one or more water treatment compositions comprising a compound with a peroxide group or a carbonate salt, a binder, a fibrous material, and an inert material, where the compound, binder, the fibrous material, and the inert material are combined into the form of an integral product, and immersing the integral product into a body of water or wastewater. The method can include a dispensing apparatus for holding such integral products such that the step of immersing the tablets into a body of water or wastewater is accomplished by immersing the dispensing apparatus into the body of water or wastewater. The dispensing apparatus can be arranged such that when integral products are placed in the apparatus the integral products form a vertical column.

摘要： A filter system for filtering a fluid stream is disclosed herein. The filter system includes a first fluid passage, a first chamber, a second chamber, an adsorbing media, and a second fluid passage. The first fluid passage is arranged such that a fluid stream can flow through the first fluid passage and into the filter system. The first chamber is arranged to hold suspended or dissolved solids, pollutants, and nutrients that are filtered from the fluid stream. The second chamber is positioned above the first chamber and in fluid communication with the first chamber. The adsorbing media is positioned in the second chamber. The second fluid passage is arranged such that filtered fluid from the fluid stream can flow out of the filtering system through the second fluid passage.
