摘要： A power supply system includes a main power storage device and a plurality of sub power storage devices. A converter is connected to a selected one of the sub power storage devices to convert voltage between the selected sub power storage device and an electric power feeding line bidirectionally. Connection of the sub power storage device is switched and, when the last sub power storage is used, a request to disconnect the sub power storage device is generated based on the SOC of the sub power storage device and the vehicle state. Specifically, where the SOC is included in a disconnection forced region in which the SOC is smaller than a reference lower limit, the sub power storage device is forced to be disconnected regardless of the vehicle state. Where the SOC is included in a disconnection permitted region in which the SOC is higher than that in the disconnection forced region, the disconnection request is generated on condition that the vehicle is in such a state that will not affect vehicle's drivability.

摘要： A power supply system for a hybrid vehicle includes a main power storage device and a plurality of sub power storage devices used selectively. When SOC of each power storage device decreases to an SOC control target, the running mode transitions from a CD mode of running with stored electric energy with an engine stopped to a CS mode of running while maintaining stored electric energy by power generation of the engine. An ECU determines a usage pattern of the power storage devices in the CS mode and the CD mode at startup of the power supply system following the start of vehicle driving. Further, in accordance with the determined usage pattern, the ECU appropriately sets an individual SOC target for each power storage device such that, upon ensuring stored electric energy available at the start of the CS mode, stored electric energy to be used in the CD mode is maximized.

摘要： A shift control apparatus that disconnects and connects respective pairs of friction engagement elements during downshift to a speed spaced apart by two or more steps through an intermediate shift speed. A shift controller controls a hydraulic pressure of a second shift release element by feedback control, and in accordance with the increase in the torque capacity of the second shift release element, also controls the torque capacity of a first shift engagement element so as to be sufficiently higher than the amount of change in the torque capacity of the second shift release element. The occurrence of adverse consequences in which a shift shock is generated is effectively suppressed because a sufficient reaction force cannot be ensured during engagement switching due to insufficient torque capacity of the first shift engagement element, and since the second shift release element cannot be appropriately feedback-controlled, difficulty in control of rotation change results.

The sub power storage device undergoes a connection switching process, and when the last sub power storage device is currently used, then, in accordance with that sub power storage device's SOC and the vehicle's state, a request is generated to disconnect the sub power storage device and a relay is turned off. In doing so, if a process is currently performed for starting or stopping an engine, generating the request is refrained even if a decreased SOC is sensed. Similarly, if a process is performed to disconnect a sub power storage device, and therewhile a request is generated to start/stop the engine, starting the process performed for starting or stopping the engine is refrained.
