    • A liquid crystal display having a display module, a back light module, a programmable voltage generator and a driving circuit is provided. The driving circuit is coupled to the programmable voltage generator and the back light module for adjusting the brightness level of the light sources inside the back light module according to a plurality of driving voltage signals generated by the programmable voltage generator. In addition, the present invention also includes a timing control circuit coupled to the display module so that the display module can output image data. The timing control circuit can detect the illumination status of every one of the light sources inside the back light module and control the programmable voltage generator to provide corresponding driving voltage signals using the illumination status from various light sources.

    • A display capable of adjusting its driving circuits according to an input resolution includes an active organic light emitting unit, a time data controller, a gate driving circuit and a source driving circuit. The time data controller includes a video data determining unit for determining a resolution of received video data and outputting a determination signal, and a controller for generating a data signal and a control signal according to the determination signal. The gate driving circuit is coupled to the time data controller and the plurality of scan lines, utilized to drive gates of pixels according to the control signal. The source driving circuit is coupled to the time data controller and the plurality of data lines, utilized to drive sources of pixels according to the data signal.

    • An apparatus for testing an organic electroluminescent display panel having a plurality of data and scan lines comprises a detecting control circuit, a gate de-multiplexer and a source de-multiplexer. The detecting control circuit generates a gate test signal and a source test signal respectively to the gate de-multiplexer and the source de-multiplexer according to the position coordinate of a testing pixel in the organic electroluminescent display panel. The gate de-multiplexer and the source de-multiplexer send a gate testing voltage and a source testing voltage to one of the scan lines and one of the data lines respectively according to the gate and source test signals. In addition, the detecting control circuit further records an output voltage of the testing pixel.

    • A display device includes a display panel, a gate driver circuit, a source driver circuit, a timing control circuit, current detection circuits, and a programmable voltage generator. The display panel includes display pixel cells and redundancy pixel cells. The gate driver circuit is connected to the display panel via scan lines. The source driver circuit is connected to the display panel via data lines. The timing control circuit is connected to the gate driver circuit, the source driver circuit and the display panel via at least one redundancy scan line. Each of the current detection circuits is adopted for detecting one of the redundancy pixel cells and a working current of one of the display pixel cells to be compensated respectively when the display device enters the compensation mode. The programmable voltage generator is connected to the timing control circuit and the source driver circuit.
